Dove Strider week is a whole week dedicated to producing content of the transfem Dave headcanon!
Date: Nov. 28 - Dec. 4
Day one: Coming to terms; how do you think Dove discovered herself?
Day two: Alchemize party; design some new outfits that Dove would wear!
Day three: Relationships; draw Dove with either her friends, partners or family! (No incest/abusive ships allowed please!)
Day four: Alt!self day; draw how you think Dove’s alt!selves would look! (Dovesprite, Alpha Dove, Dovepeta, ect)
Day five: Kidswap au!
Day six: Birthday bash!
Day seven: Relaxation; draw Dove with the well deserved break she needs.

Q: Do we have to make art only? // Can I do other types of art?
A: Fanfics and other forms of art are allowed! Just keep everything sfw. (Or as sfw as possible with homestuck.)
Q: What types of content isn’t allowed?
A: Any sort of transphobic/ other types of bigotry, incest/abusive relationships, as well as transmasc Dave. Bro Strider is allowed so long as it’s the better Bro au. We want this week to be fun and welcoming to everyone!

A: If all goes well, yes! I would love to have a yearly Dove week.
Q: How did the transfem Dave headcanon start?
A: The transfem Dave headcanon has been around since 2012. Unfortunately, I was 9/10 when that happened so I honestly couldn’t tell you how it was made, but I’ve been a fan of her ever since 2015. When June Egbert was canonized in 2019, I decided that I wanted to revive the headcanon after the massive amount of support shown for June. Though Dove is a very niche headcanon, there is a fairly decent community for fans, and I wanted to host a fun week for us to create art for Dove!
Q: Do I have to use the name Dove? // I don’t like Dove for her name, can I use something else?
A: Of course! Dove is just the popular name used for her, any other names are welcome here, including her keeping the name Dave!
