“Urr…” The boy awkwardly shifted his head to see the girl standing behind him. She appeared to be the same age his sister, did she know her? Probably not, she didn’t seem the type to hang around someone like her… “Can I help you?” he asked before shifting his eyes away.

To be honest, she wasn't too sure how she ended up here; all she knew now was that there was a young boy - who, from the looks of it, seemed around the twins' age - standing before her, seeming somewhat... shy, for lack of a better word. "Uh, yeah... I guess," she answered uncertainly, running a hand through her hair. "For starters, I guess telling me where I am would be great..." It certainly didn't seem like Gravity Falls, that was for sure.

“How can someone not have a sense of adventure? Getting in trouble is fun.” Well, that depends for the brunette; sometimes, if it was that bed enough, she’d end up crying. She was such a wimp; but not as big as she use to be anyways. 

“Mabel? Nope, never met anyone with that name before…” The name really didn’t ring a bell, sure she’s met a lot of people and there’s probably a chance that she did met her, but nah; not familiar enough to say so.

"You'd be surprised," she answered simply, "Nowadays, nobody's up for getting in trouble, except for me and my friends." Even so, she hadn't really been hanging out with them as much as she used to - it's been a while since she last saw them.

"Ah, well, if you like saying stuff like that, you'd definitely like her. She's kinda young, but she's an okay kid. She and her brother."

“Why, what’s wrong with them?” she asked, turning around completely and watching her. From what she could tell, there wasn’t anything off about them - they were rather interesting, actually. To her, at least.

"Nothing's wrong with them. I'm just trying to save you money." During her time of employment here, the fact that the shack's owner was nothing but greedy and was always trying to rip off his customers became very obvious. With a shrug and dismissive wave, she glanced over at the brown-haired girl. "Most of those books cost more than they're actually worth, but if you want to be cheated, suit yourself."

"Everything's better now that I'm off shift," was the teenager's reply as she kicked her feet up on the counter, glancing down periodically at her cell phone. "I wouldn't really bother with those books, just saying." For an employee, she certainly had a negative attitude about the shack - although that might've just been her rebellious teen spirit speaking.

She did love her group of friends (boyfriend included), but some of the pranks they pulled off were practically the same and unoriginal. This girl seemed interesting enough, and hey, maybe some of her ideas would get her shifts to end early - if they angered the old guy enough. "Name's Wendy. Hey, scalawag sounds like something Mabel would say. You've been hangin' out with her or something?"
