Hey so it’s apparently some kind of apocalypse over here, huh?

Hi, I’ve been basically missing in action for about a year and firstly I want to deeply apologize to all the friends that I kind of just, vanished on. There are a few assorted reasons that I jumped ship, and most of it’s not that nice. I’ve done... a lot of self-reflection in the time I’ve been gone and realized that I have a lot of shit i have to work through, which I’ve been trying to do. It’s all pretty personal and kind of boring? Really I just came back to apologize, because it’s kind of a shitty thing to just... disappear on people. So, I am very sorry for that, and if I’ve caused anyone any sort of anxiety or anything by doing so. 

That’s the main reason I’ve returned to the blue hell. There are other reasons, too. Second most important to the apologizing is to tell people that might still follow me here after a year that I have a Twitter that I’ve started using somewhat regularly. You can find me there as lostgubbins if you want. I also have Discord, which I’m more than willing to give to folks if you want to send me a DM on Twitter, or an ask on here. Do those still work? Is that still a thing? I think it is... 

So, what have I been up to for a year? Well, not a lot. I’m currently managing a Discord community for a comic my friend creates, an interactive sprite comic called Blood is Mine, I’m still working the same dumb job, and basically just trying to survive in the increasingly ridiculous capitalist hellscape that is our modern world. Oh, I also started my own webcomic, Mechanically Inclined, which is also an interactive adventure comic. That’s... kind of been it, really. 

I kind of doubt that anyone I knew over here and just kind of ghosted on remembers me or even want much to do with me now, but if you do, now you know where to find me.

I don’t miss this place at all, but I do miss some of the people. I wish you good luck in the coming Tumblr apocalypse.

i’d like to take a minute to apologize to all of the friends i just kind of stopped talking to over the last nine months or so. or more, actually, there are a lot of you that i haven’t spoken to in literal years.

i’m bad at communication and i tend to fall off of things and leave them too long. sometimes i let my bad brain convince me people don’t need me anymore, or that i don’t belong somewhere anymore, and it’s dumb and usually not true and i know a lot of you probably wish i’d stuck around but i’ve been so badly burned before that it’s become a habit to just leave when i start to get that feeling before it ends up actually being true. so, i’m sorry. it’s my bad. i’m a garbage fire, but if you want to, you can come sit with me a while and i’ll try not to stink too badly.
