I'm working on the second panel for my blanket.
One panel done, one to go!
Close up video of a blanket that I'm making. It's not perfect, but it's just right for me.
Daily doodle. I added some color to the last drawing while dealing with a fibro flare up and brain fog.
Another doodle
Doodle of the day. Finishing up the black ink background on this drawing gave me an idea for a larger sketch.
Making progress. I used my small sketch for reference for the larger drawing. I'm debating between leaving the borders plain white or adding a little design doodles in it. I also decided to add in some Northern Lights effects in the sky.
A rough draft for a larger drawing that I'm thinking about making. This is based on a painting that I made for my mom decades ago.
It's simple and my hand tremors haven't caused me to mess it up (yet).
My hand tremors aren't as bad as they were a few years ago. Before my tremors got really bad, I used to draw, paint, and play music all the time. The tremors took that away from me. Which sucked like hell!
Over the last year my hand tremors have been decreasing in frequency and intensity. Which is nice. So, I'm freeing my soul by trying to make more 2D artwork again.
I don't know what I'll do with the finished pieces. I might sell them, I might give them away. I might just recycle the paper. This piece I will probably throw away. It was fun to make, but it's not an amazing piece.
Anyway, here's my weird duck. I left the eyes white, like a void, or like static like when brain fog hits.
The water design was fun to make. And it's obvious in the swirls that the steadiest of my hands was starting to fade. I had the black lines originally in ink, but it didn't look right. So, I went over it with black oil pastel and I'm content with the look.
Holding time. I was inspired to make this scarf from a dream I had and from watering the wild clover patch in the yard.
One of my current work-in-progress. It's a Christmas gift for a family member. I'm using Bernar and Big Twist Yarn. This yarn combination is incredibly soft! It feels as soft as a warm comforter coming out of the dryer, all nice warm and snuggly.
My original concept was to animate this image using flipaclip. I was having problems getting the app to upload the music and editing was being wonky. So in the meantime here is the general idea. I used Gemini and Suno. I prompted Gemini to create this image for me. Then I edited it in Pickmonkey. I wanted to add some music to it, so I wrote a prompt and used Suno to create music for it. It took me a couple of times to get the results that I was looking for.
Starting a new project: A triangular loom knitted shawl. This one is another Northern Lights inspired piece. I feel like this piece will come together quickly.
Glow-in-the-dark headband. This piece is called "Northern Lights". I like how this turned out, but I wished I had waited one more row before starting to use the glow in the dark yarn .
Three bright yellow coneflowers in a row! I planted these two years ago and they are finally coming up and blooming. I had planted about 30 coneflower seeds balls and only 4 bloomed this year. The fourth flower bloomed further away from these.
