I wanted to ask about the Alicole story you said you were writing. Is it canon convergent where the greens win or just scenes filling the blanks of the story and is there any details you can share?
Hi Anon! I’m so glad you’re interested in reading it! It’s a mix of show and book canon and written with Green bias to balance out what hbo did. The Greens aren’t perfect, they’re very flawed, but in this fic Viserys, Rhaenyra and Daemon are straight up villains. I wrote Part I to fill in the first time jumps, then Part II fills in the second time jump and deviates more to become a fixit (no bs Rhaenys busting through the floor thank you very much), Part III will be pure copium for the direction this show is going and following the book. Book accurate Blood and Cheese, ‘Maegor with Teats’, ‘bastard blood shed at war’ and all that. It will turn into an au fixit around The Butcher’s Ball cause I can’t handle that sad ending. I started writing this because I knew it would make me feel better if this adaptation went the same way as GoT and I’m glad I started so early! There is also fanart every few chapters.

Everything is changed by Aemond’s injury on Driftmark. Alicent and Criston can barely look at each other but they must all come together if they are to survive Daemon and Rhaenyra. With Viserys’s health failing, time is running out. Aemond must overcome his mutilation, Helaena must find her bravery and Aegon…has a long way to go to be worthy of his crown but his brother’s bloody loss has shown him he has no choice but to finally step up for his family. Lots of political intrigue and…more pining.
