Were the Valyrian outposts in the Blackwater Bay (Dragonstone, Celtigar and Driftmak) a sign that pre-doom Valyria was contemplating an invasion of mainland Westeros? And could Aegon have drawn of such plans for his own invasion?

I don't think so. Ultimately, Driftmark and Claw Isle appear to be bases to help control ship traffic across the Narrow Sea. They were probably much more useful for securing trade, hunting down pirates, and ensuring robust communication with Pentos and Tyrosh than in acting as staging grounds for a Westerosi conquest.
