Ben was still groggy from the flight. His intense fear of flying was still an issue, even at 21, so he opted for drugging himself so he wouldn’t even remember it. Another yawn. This assignment had more individuals than usual and he was starting to have a hard time keeping up. He’ll have to ask Coulson for a small review later when he’s not on the verge of falling asleep. 

“Hey, Phil! Can I talk to you for a sec?”

They had just gotten done with a workout and sitting on the roof, Mei with a sandwich and him with a few bottles of water. The sun was barely starting to set, leaving bright oranges and reds in the sky. 

 “I might be leaving the country for a bit”

“No.  You will not be driving.”

“Why you gotta hurt me like this?”

“Absolutely not.  No.  You never said driving in the original deal and there’s no modifying after the deal’s been made.”

“If you really think about it, going for a drive wasn’t exactly in the original deal so why stop ‘modifying’ it? I’ll even pay for gas?”

Tony squinted at the picture, and grudgingly admitted that Ben had really done that.  Damn it all.  But then his attention snapped up to the other man’s face, an eyebrow raised.  “Oh no.  You didn’t say anything about driving.  You said a ride.”

“Oh come on, Tony. I don’t drive like how I did when I was in my twenties”

“Alright.  Pick a car.  Show me the photos.”  He had plenty of cars.  As Ben no doubt had noticed.

“The Ferrari F12 Spyder” Ben said as he opened up his phone then turned it around to Tony. I was a selfie of him, with his eyebrows scrunched up holding a small device with a small screen that read “system disabled” and Tony sleeping in the background. “You trust me to drive that one, right?”

A pause of just staring, just for a moment.  “God damn it.  Okay, I still want photographs, but how much do I owe you?”

“I’ll show them to you but I’m not sending them to you. I don’t need money. Gladly will take a ride in one of your cars though”

“You got any other proof?  Because you handing me a list of dates doesn’t tell me anything.”

Ben paused for a minute, sizing the other up. “Have you found your remote yet? The one to the TV in the kitchen? Or your left Berluti shoe? Do you want photographic proof? Because I got that too”
