Were you born a fairy or did you learn it?
I was born a fairy in Pixie Hollow when Neverland wasn't the island of hell it is now.
ofredjacketsā:
Emma couldnāt believe that she had loathed Neal for months and in a span of five minutes, confessed her true feelings and made love to him in the pouring rain. It was an act she didnāt regret and couldnāt stop thinking about it as she walked from the village after finishing her errands back to her estate. Walking was better for her anyway for she could be alone with her thoughts and not be betrayed. In fact, she was so lost in thought that she didnāt notice her friend up ahead.
@greentinkerfairy
Tink had just finished her piano lessons and glad to have finally be out of her estate to visit Emma. She highly anticipated having tea with her at last.
āEmma!ā She picked up her dress, in her usual unladylike manner, and ran over to her friend with a smile before embracing her, placing soft kisses on each side of her cheek.Ā āThank goodness. I was nearly about to pass out after my last lesson. Come! Itās time for tea!ā She took her friendās hand and walked with her inside.Ā
ofredjacketsā:
āTink!ā Emma laughed. āYouāre ridiculous sometimes. Iād much rather have a man with a pleasant face who does speak. I enjoy a good conversation or two.ā She was more of an introvert than anything else, but she really liked getting to know people. A sigh escaped when Tink brought up the man she ran into prior to meeting up with her.
āI did. I believe his name was Neal Cassidy? Anyway, his name doesnāt matter, but I ran into him earlier. Even though I apologized for my error, he seemed to judge me right away and never had a kind thing to say once he opened his mouth. I had never been so insulted in my life, and I would rather avoid him at all costs. He was quite⦠prejudiced towards me.ā
āWhat?!ā She laughed with her.Ā āI donāt mind a decent conversation once in a while but most of the time they donāt even care to listen to me speak especially if I go on and on about fascinating contraptions...ā
She continued searching for Neal but he was nowhere to be found. However, she froze when Emma had uttered his name. Oh dear. Why was she not surprised he did not exactly make the best first impression?Ā
She slowly turned to Emma, biting her lip before giving her quite the look of guilt.Ā āIām sure it was a misunderstanding. Heās much, much nicer once you get to know him?ā
ofredjacketsā:
Emma looked at her best friend and laughed. āWhy is that men think we will fall madly in love with them if we know much money they make? Money canāt buy happiness.ā She sighed, sipping her own glass of champagne in hand. āI donāt mind a ball or party for I love the dancing, spending time with you, my dear friend, and seeing people happy together. However, Iād love if men would simply be respectable and not like the man I ran into earlier.ā Emma didnāt know why running into the stranger bothered her so much, but the last thing she was going to do was let it ruin her evening.
āMoney canāt buy happiness but it is not so bad as long as they have quite the pleasant face and donāt speak as much.ā Tink smirked before she had finished the rest of her flute and picking up another. She took her friendās hand and pulled her along to search for her friend, Neal, who she had already planned for them to meet. However he seemed to have been hiding out, again. That man, she thought, was in need of some fun at these gatherings for once.Ā
āYou ran into a man earlier? What did he do?āĀ
asksonofthedarkoneā:
āWhere else would I be?ā Neal asked as he returned the embrace. Usually, he stuck to the same formality as others, proper in manner, yet with Tink he let them slide. She was, perhaps, the only person heād feel no reservations in doing so with. And seeing her did manage to put him more at ease, as an unfamiliar crowd left him rather tense.
āAs do you,ā he complimented in return. āIf youāre here to play matchmaker, you might want to rethink that plan of yours. Besides, Iām not sure if this place is where Iāll meet someone whoāll catch my attention.ā
He was partly lying. He banged into a woman earlier and she did just that. For the life of him, she wouldnāt leave his mind.
āWho says anything about playing matchmaker? Honestly, Neal. I just wish for us to have acquaintances that is all.ā She obviously lied as she knew very well he would simply adore Emma as much as she did if they ever crossed paths.Ā
Tink scanned the room herself, seeing the same boring men she had already spoken to but no one else who have captured her attention. She had simply given up finding anyone to entertain that evening. It was all about her friends meeting each other at last.
She gave him a small poke on his side.Ā āNow straighten up and put on your brightest smile.ā
It wasnāt unusual for Tink Bell to sneak away from her lessons as they were often quite boring. If she were to marry a potential suitor one day, she had to speak like a proper lady. Whatever such speech that was. There was only so much eloquent dictation she could stand before she would eventually start cursing up a storm and as a consequence, have supper withheld.Ā
She may as well make it worthwhile as she made her way over to the Mills Manor to see a dear friend, Regina. She would appreciate a surprise perhaps. However, upon Tinkās arrival at the estate, she had seen her with a man unfamiliar to her. She hid behind a tree as it had indeed appeared they did not wish to be seen. She didnāt mean to spy on them but she was quite intrigued as she couldnāt wait to ask her friend about him.

Wealthy, spoiled, secretly aspiring inventor, and matchmaker meddler
āNeal! Youāre here!ā Tink beamed as she saw her friend, forgetting any formalities and just threw her arms around him into a warm embrace. She didnāt care about the prying eyes of judgement on how improper she was in greeting a man. She had endured playing on the demure demeanor all night, it was simply exhausting. Seeing Neal was quite the relief.Ā
She pulled away from her friend and looked him over with a smirk, not used to seeing him so dressed up. āYou are looking very well, my friend. There was someone I wish for you to meet but... she had seemed to have disappeared.āĀ
The woman looked around for her friend, Emma, who may have snuck away to grab a drink which she would not blame her one bit.
@asksonofthedarkone
Another ball, another opportunity to be put on display for a potential suitor, but for Tink, it was another opportunity to see what fun, or trouble, she could have. There were a few fairly good looking guests but the moment most of them opened their mouths, they didnāt seem as attractive. She just wanted to eat, drink, dance, and spend time with her dear friend, Emma, who was one of the very few people she knew that shared her indifference to such events. She appreciated that about her. She just wanted to be there for her.
āIf I hear one more man speak of how much money he makes, I may not hold back my temptation to shove that bottle of champagne down his throat.ā

dashing-pirateā:
Hook reached into his jacket and pulled out his flask, holding it out for her to take,Ā āyou know, love, this supply isnāt limitless. Itās good stuff so it wasnāt easy to find.ā He looked over and noticed her looking up at the sky, looking very pensive,Ā āsomething on your mind?ā
Tink shrugged as she grabbed the flask before taking a healthy swig. She didnāt care if it was short supply, she savored however much she could get. She licked her lips before handing the flask back to the pirate. After being on that island with a bunch of brats, she deserved it. She had to admit, Hookās presence made things a little more bearable.Ā
She did have something on her mind. It was the same as the day before, and the day before. Thoughts of how she could get off that island, what Pan could ask her to do next, what she would do to Regina if she saw her again... However, she wasnāt going to divulge such thoughts to the pirate.Ā
āIām just trying to find a single star up there. Long ago the sky used to be covered with them.ā
when you ended up in Neverland without magic, did you have any plans or did you just decide to live out your days there? What were your thoughts?
I'd do anything to get out of this hell hole. It's not at all what it used to be. All I care about right now is surviving and doing whatever it takes for it.
asksonofthedarkoneā:
I used to live in the Enchanted Forest too. What happened? I donāt know much about fairies or what it takes to be a fairy godmother. The one time I talked to a fairy, it wasnāt a very long conversation.
I like to think Iāve done brave things, but so much bad happened itās hard to see it that way. What would Pan need with an army of kids? I can imagine most of them were probably killed. Except those on the Jolly Roger. At least, those are the only pirates Iāve met.
Just knowing there might be a way off gives me some hope. Why canāt you say, is it because Pan, right?
Itās quite an embarrassing story but I may as well tell you. I used to be a fairy godmother in training under the Blue Fairy. For a while I thought I was doing well and was able to expand my fairy magic beyond my chosen fairy skill... which is tinkering, hence my name. However, it turns out I was not very keen on following the rules. I thought being a fairy godmother was about bringing happiness to everyone, regardless of who they are. Unfortunately, I was wrong and I found out how the hard way. I broke the rules for the wrong person. It cost me my wings so Iāve been banished here. I lived in a once beautiful place here in Neverland called Pixie Hollow but it no longer exists since Pan had taken over. You can say Iām imprisoned on his island as much as you are.
Pan didnāt always have an army of children. When I was his companion many many years ago, I thought helping him bring Lost Children to live here he could be surrounded by friends... almost like having our own family. Overtime, Iāve noticed he didnāt treat them as such. He played quite dangerous games to test them their worthiness of being a part of his army. Fighting off anyone who dared to challenge him. Either you pass the test or you die.Ā
I realized it was power he wanted, as if he were King of Neverland. There is a prophecy I cannot discuss but he needs his army of Lost Boys to fulfill it.
asksonofthedarkoneā:
So, youāre trapped here just like everyone else. Where did you live before here? If you donāt mind me asking anyway.
Iāve been told that, but I donāt feel very brave. Itās not entirely impossible. Someone I know, he let her go. But I donāt think Pan will do the same for anyone else. Do you know why he wants Lost Boys? I canāt figure out the reason. Iām trying to come tp with a plan. There has to be something on the island that can help with escaping.
Iām afraid so. I was born here in Neverland but I wanted to be a fairy godmother so I decided to live in the Enchanted Forest for a while. Obviously, that didnāt work out.
Oh, I know a brave soul when I see one. I may no longer have my fairy instincts but Iād like to say I could still tell if someone has a good heart. I canāt say what Pan wants with the Lost Boys other than having his own army. This place used to be invaded by pirates. You can only imagine what happened to most of them.
There may be a way to escape the island but Iām afraid I canāt say. Iām sorry.
Starter for @dashing-pirateā
āYou donāt happen to have more of that rum, do you, Pirate?ā Tinker Bell leaned back against a tree, gazing up at the sky trying to find even a small sparkle of stars. Neverland has been growing darker and darker with the waning magic, even the night sky lacked the stars that used to shine.Ā
asksonofthedarkoneā:
Sounds like youāve been here a long time. Iāve only met one fairy, seems like forever ago. From what Iāve heard almost everyone here is loyal to Pan, but I guess that kind of makes you in the middle. Since you asked, I came here to protect my family. The Shadow wanted to bring a boy so I took his place. And all I want to do is get back home.
I have. For a while I wasnāt here but Iāve come back. Itās a very... very long story but yes, Iām not here for any purpose other than surviving.Ā
Youāre a very brave boy for doing that. You know that no one leaves this island without Panās permission and that is an impossible thing to have. Iām afraid he collects Lost Boys for his own disposal. How do you gather youāll be able to go back home?
@asksonofthedarkone replied:
I don't want to be anything like them, so I guess that's a good thing. It's a long story. One I might be willing to share, but I have no idea who I can trust on this island. You're not with Pan, are you? Because I'm really trying to avoid him and the Lost Boys.
Itās alright. I donāt blame you for not trusting me. Iāve had a long history with Pan and was once his right hand fairy as they may say. I canāt say Iām with him nor against him. Iāll be honest with you. He leaves me alone for the most part unless he needs something from me.Ā
