Regardless of age, everyone has at least one goal or wish for their life. Whether your character wants to build their own house or learn to play the piano, its time to write their bucket list! It can be as long or short as you want; if you want to write out an explanation or have some goals crossed off, go ahead!

Show your pride for your school with this week by celebrating a beheld week of Homecoming tradition. The schedule below shows the specifically chosen themed days planned. It is optional but highly encouraged that students participate. Please keep in mind of the dress code when dressing up for Spirit Week.

Monday: Disney Day - Pick your favorite Disney character to dress up as! Tuesday: Fashion Disaster Day - Dress up in an outfit that’s the worst of the worst. Wednesday: Hero/Villain Day - Dress up as your favorite hero or villain. Even get creative with creating your own personal persona. Royal Nominations will be taken. Hi! I have a question. I'm considering applying for an OC, but I don't know what connections would be okay to put. Should I go with open canons, or should I describe connections that I'm looking for? Firstly, thanks so much! This roleplay has been in works for a while.

As for connections, it’s preferred to be about canon characters. The best way to think when it comes to connections, is by thinking in the POV of your character. How they feel about that character, for example. Also if you’d like a specific connection, I can ask our current members if they would be willing to fulfill that role!

The Atwater family is one that doesn’t move easily. Literally. The Deas line has lived on their own private island in the Mediterranean since the first honoring of the Atwater name. They are a reclusive Titled line that many in ICMA and the Deas communities consider them outsiders. Not to mention, they don’t easily align with any particular side of governing. Just as the blue seas sway, the Atwater family doesn’t feel a need to be political or outspoken on matters that don’t really affect them on their island. Lani, however, was one of the few in her generation that wanted to see the world. It took many fights and begging sessions to get her parents to even consider letting their youngest daughter go somewhere else for schooling. When they finally relented, Lani offered up Greenwood Academy as the place to go.

Now in her third year, Lani is still just as excited about being there as she was on her first day. While she still struggles with living away from the sea and from home, as well as dealing with those who look down on her eccentric nature, Lani couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

Lani is a cheerful, lovely person, but sometimes she just blurts something awfully awkward and embarrassing, leading her to then point out how she shouldn’t have said anything. Others find it odd that she sneaks out to dip her feet in The Swamp or swimming pool; anything that resembles water. Lani also is incredibly curious about humans and their society and history; often asking multiple questions at once. At times, she also seems like a bad luck magnet, always stepping on gum, or losing her money. Lani is a starry-eyed hopeless romantic and believes in love at first sight. She even wishes on shooting stars everytime she sees them. She believes that everyone has their perfect soul mate and that’s what they’re looking for in life. As for the Order of Glaine, she is more concerned than her family is. Seeing what the world has to offer, human and not, has created a place in her heart that she would be willing to defend. .

The product of a vanity-driven society, Nae’s most notable trait is her impeccable appearance. She has been made aware of her role in the world since a young age, and rather than rebelling against it, has set out to outdo every other girl on the same track to success. She is incredibly mature and self-aware, and her opinion of herself is something not easily shaken. In fact, no one so far has managed to get to her with any sort of supposedly biting remark. The problem with attacking her choices in life is that she genuinely believes in where she’s going. The girl has devoted her life to carving out a niche for herself as the flawless young woman–a properly attired, well-mannered social butterfly of rare sophistication.

What sets her apart from the wannabe-princesses stereotype is her immense intellect, which lends her a sharp tongue and a distaste for stupidity in all its manifestations. Her quick mind is something she takes great pride in, and which she frequently exercises at the expense of others. Her admittedly stellar performance both in school and in the social circles gives her immense satisfaction and confidence that she truly is the best at what she’s doing.The reason for the banshee’s obsession with perfection can be traced to her mother – a woman possessed by unrealistic standards and all too ready to impose them on her daughter. Having been forced into too-tight corsets and too-high heels since she was thirteen, the girl has adapted marvelously and is in fact flourishing under her mother’s draconian ruling.

Her father, a tender and lenient man, in turn supplies her with anything she so much as mentions wanting, further affirming her sense of self-worth. Knowing as she does what she has sacrificed to get where she has, Nae is perhaps understandably unwilling to cut anyone any slack. She despises people who lack ambition and are going nowhere in life. Underneath her talk is a bright girl who is very observant. She manages to make outstanding scores and is dedicated to ensuring she has a promising future after Greenwood. There is no hall that is safe from her prying ears, as she has a way about her that makes people tell her what she wants to hear. There is just something about how she spins words and makes you feel comfortable that gets her what she wants.

Min grew up in the stereotypical nuclear family living in Newport Beach, but ever since she was a young child she was in front of a camera. Min knew the ins and outs of the wealthy lifestyle by the time she was ten and had often taken advantage of it. Instead of going to private school, Min was home schooled and trained by some of the best magical users there are. Though it wasn’t necessarily always at home since she made a name for herself in the modelling world. Traveling to far off countries and knowing more celebrities than most gossip television hosts, she became a well traveled young woman. However, when she reached the age where most of her friends from home were caught up in dating and school, Min couldn’t help but consider the idea. After taking some last minute online courses, she finally worked up the courage to step back from the limelight long enough to try and experience high school. Of course, her fame wasn’t easy to hide from and she had to deal with paparazzi on the daily, but thankfully after a year at Greenwood Academy and not doing anything worthy of the public eye, they’ve begun to move on from her. Not to mention the security around the school is impenetrable. Now she’s settling into another year of boarding school with the confidence that she will graduate. All that’s left to do is enjoy the freedom she has before she has to re-enter the fashion world. That is, if she decides to go back.

Her parents spend most of their time working and dealing with the press; enough that her absence doesn’t even seem to be noticed. Instead of letting it bother her–most days, that is–Min has taken to avoiding thinking of the negatives. They visit every parent’s weekend but that’s the most she’ll see them consecutively; though really it's only to keep up appearances. Everything in her life up until Greenwood has been about the outside viewers; now Min finally feels like she’s found a place to just be herself. Though, she really doesn’t know who that is yet. With learning to settle in an average lifestyle, Min is starting to hear rumors of the Order of Glaine and the politics that come with being a magical being.

Growing up in a closed-minded home has made Elenaril’s life nearly a living hell. With a strict schedule and curfew, she’s had to always be that girl who had to run home in the middle of fun. Until her letter for Greenwood arrived. As soon as she stepped onto the plane, Lena felt it; freedom. It took her parents some time to accept that she was no longer their little girl that they could smother. A whole year, in fact. After two full semesters of Lena having to call them nearly every day and skyping at least twice a week, she finally earned their full trust. As they say: what they don’t know can’t hurt them. Drayton became her new home and, at the age of eleven, Lena wanted nothing to do with her family. She spent as many breaks as she could at school, and when that failed, Lena stayed with friends.

Of course, she couldn’t break holiday engagements and was all but dragged home, but she was a little excited to see her younger siblings. At school, Lena is a completely free teenage girl. She uses her appearances and charm as a means to take advantage of boys. They do something for her and she does something for them; though she doesn’t always stick to her end of the bargain. Lena does her best to keep her activities a secret from her family, which is easy since they’re so far away and can’t watch over her every move. Going away to school was the best thing that happened to her.

Her magic is one of her main focuses at school and she doesn’t really take the rest of the classes seriously. After all, with the help that boys are willing to give her, Lena doesn’t really see much reason to. She’s spends most of her time doing what most teenage girls do; regardless if they are magical or not. Lena can get fiery about things and isn’t afraid to stand up for herself–especially with the way that most don’t agree with her methods. Still, nothing can change who she is and no one will ever be able to tell her who she can or cannot be.

One could argue that there are two people in one body when it comes to Riki. From a young age, he didn’t have much to call home. His mother disappeared at birth and he was left with a father who wasn’t prepared to have a kid hanging around. So Riki did what he could to avoid being a nuisance on his father, even going as far as joining up in the same street gang to help pull his weight. By the time he was fifteen, Riki could swindle a rich housewife into giving up her wallet or keep an eye from the shadows during deals that required a lookout. When he was sixteen, though, things changed and suddenly his father was nearly begging him not to follow the boss’ plan to send the young boy to Greenwood Academy.

No longer seeing a need to listen to his father and a lower level gang member, Riki went through with the transfer and is now in his final year of school. He doesn’t quite get why he needed to be there; any of the targets there could be played with from outside the school grounds anyway. However, the boss keeps saying there’s something big coming and Riki only hopes it’s a big payout so he can finally get away. When he’s not sneaking off campus to do a job, Riki can be found like any normal teenage boy on campus. He’s soft spoken but not shy about his personality--he’s learned to say only enough to have a conversation. Few know of his affiliations, and they assume his tattoos are just from rebellion. His lack of commitment to his studies is made up for in his observation skills and life experiences.

The Order of Glaine and ICMA aren’t any of his concerns at the moment. He keeps himself busy and is too caught up in his own world to notice the “greater picture” problems. He’s accepting of the magical, however, due to growing up with a gang that has some magical members within.

Chase had a simple upbringing; his mother owns a small bookstore and his father is a well-known scientist. Together, his parents created a safe and supportive environment for him to grow. When he was eleven, he took a test at school that resulted in him suddenly skipping two grades ahead. Because of how cruel kids can be, Chase was teased and bullied for two years before his parents decided to transfer him to Greenwood Academy. They had always been interested in the school and since it was closer to home than his previous one, they enrolled him. At a school where most of the students have inhuman lifespans, his age meant nothing and over time he began to heal from the previous bullying.

Chase has never had an argument in his life. That doesn’t mean others haven’t tried, just that he never responds; so to him that isn’t an argument. Some find it eerie while others find it calming. Staying level-headed he’s able to diffuse a situation and resolve the problem at hand. He has a knack for solving problems and he’s the one people go to when they need something fixed or improved. And he loves it. Being able to combine things and create something better or different puts a smile on his face. He hopes to one day find a way to combine the magical and the human to progress the world of science and technology.

He doesn’t know really anything about the Order of Glaine or the tensions revolving around ICMA--though that’s not due to a lack of trying. He does wonder what will come in the future and whether the Order is any real threat.

As one of ten boys who lived in a foster home all the way until he was thirteen, he struggled to keep up with his peers around him. However Greenwood’s Ellen Sumner took him under her wing and helped him study and succeed well in his education. She is the reason he ended up at Greenwood Academy under a scholarship and halfway through his freshman year, Mrs. Sumner offered up her home. Christopher accepted the adoption and took on the last name of Sumner. He never once took advantage of the Sumners’ kindness and learned to love them as his own parents. He’s incredibly grateful for the chance that was given to him and tries to offer up the same to everyone he interacts with.

His love of science managed to stem specifically with plants and the natural world. As one of the most kindhearted people, his friendships are deep and he doesn’t like to let others down. He has a genuine concern for the feelings of others and couldn’t dream of hurting another. Even with his active social life, Christopher still continued to keep up good grades. Yet, he is straight-edge--choosing not to drink or do drugs--and while he’s teased for it, he doesn’t let it bother him. He tries to live healthy and regret free by eating vegetarian and is involved in multiple clubs and charities.

The threat of the Order of Glaine is known to him, seeing as his adoptive father is part of the Cieli Guard. He does worry that perhaps sometime soon there will be a tragic attack that can’t be ignored. He doesn’t let his parents know, though, that he thinks such things.

With a family such as his own Griffin knows it’s better to be silent than to force out something you don’t mean. His parents are both from long lines of pure magical families and he knows everything about each of their lines. Raised in a household filled with secrets and hidden meanings made it hard for Griffin to decide who he really was. His true identity was a mystery for nearly all his life. All he could say for certain is that his magic was important. It was what made him special and that was reminded to him by his parents often.

As he grew older, he became much quieter than ever before. He only spoke when spoken to or when forced to in class. Often rumored to be mute by other students, Griffin is truly very eloquent, particularly on paper. His essays always receive top marks and he is known to be seen writing in a notebook filled with poems of his own creations. About the only time he wants the attention on himself is when he deserves it. Otherwise he’d rather just be left alone to his thoughts and observations. His family has ties to the Order of Glaine and he’s well aware of it, but doesn’t yet find a reason to speak out against them and hasn’t yet decided what side of the scale he falls on. What he knows for certain is that magic should be celebrated and a magical being’s true form should also be revered.

Unlike most of his fellow classmates Reese didn’t start his schooling at Greenwood. Instead his parents sent him off to Aristide Conservatory of Manhattan where he was forced to toughen up his exterior rather than focus on unity. For the first four years there, Reese was shown the true meaning of discipline and regulation, and he absolutely hated all of it. In the end he forced his parents’ hands when he did everything possible to be expelled from school. However, they made a deal with him: join the Order of Glaine like his father and he could attend Greenwood Academy with no interference. So he begrudgingly did as told once more.

The only people in his family that he is close to are his younger sister and uncle. When he’s home during school breaks, he stays hidden in his room, only coming out when necessary or his parents are away. His school mates don’t know much about him. When asked about his time at Aristide, he simply gives the answers they expect to hear. Reese knows of a few things he probably shouldn’t concerning the politics and plots revolving around the tensions between the worlds. There aren’t many people who should know such things, therefore he’s opted to keep his mouth shut. Those involved are not ones to mess with lightly. Over the year that he’s become a member for the Order of Glaine, Reese has discovered just how much he doesn’t agree with them and now has to decide if he should lose his family or himself.

Born from two parents who value opinions and outgoing personalities, Lux somehow managed to be the complete opposite. He took more time to be as silent as possible rather than focusing on other people and listening to them. Not only does he think his opinion is the highest in value but when he does decide to speak, he tells others exactly how irrelevant their opinions are. But he has a habit of always being where others ask him. His dependable nature is something he can never shake and Lux always has his school work ready to be handed in on time. He’s talented with his air magic and does show off at times--often getting a reprimand from his teachers.

While he doesn’t have much of a definitive opinion of his preferred gender—which seems like the only thing about him that is eccentric—Lux found it easier for others to just refer to him with male pronouns--this keeps others from asking questions. His decision to join the Order of Glaine was based partly on curiosity and partly because there’s a section of his mind that truly believes in their ideals. No one in his family knows of his choice to join the unfavored group and he is prepared to keep it that way until the best moment. Lux has found that his housemates’ needs to speak with him is the biggest thing that grates on his nerves. If it were possible, he’d live in the Swamp if it meant being left alone to his thoughts and magic.

Living at home with no parents may seem surprising to most when it comes to Adam. Not only does he have an entire large home to himself, but he somehow always seems to have the money needed for weekends or trips during breaks. Adam’s home life is abysmal. Not only is he alone while his parents are off working but he is very certain that one day they will officially be divorced considering how much time they aren’t with one another. With most likely two separate lives and neither including Adam, he’s used to the idea that they’ve simply forgotten about him. Just as his parents did, Adam was bestowed with his Word: Overwhelm. He hasn’t given it much thought since he was ten on the word and what it means for his future. It mattered to his parents and he doesn’t want anything that matters to them in his life.

Yet instead of stopping his education and making reckless choices, Adam would much rather be away with his friends than deal with the piercing silence that is home. Noise keeps him happy and productive which is why you can usually find him listening to the radio much louder than everyone else while writing an especially long essay. Joining the Order of Glaine is based both off his dislike of his own parents as well as the feeling of partnership that comes along with joining such an organization. He never talks much about his own ideals and beliefs but becoming a member of a group that favors the violent, he’s sure that will have to change soon enough.

Sure, Carmilla has an adorable face and, yes, she may seem like a sweet girl. However, Carmilla knows her way around a good con. The dwarf can have you giving her your last dollars in a matter of minutes. Without anyone realizing, she has managed to fool all the teachers into thinking she is a top student and kind girl. It’s not that she’s malicious or mean in any way, Carmilla just enjoys getting one—or more than one—over others. One of four and the only girl, in her opinion she is the sneakiest. She’s closest to the oldest, Bryn, even though lately he hasn’t had much time for her. Her brothers are being groomed, taught the ways of the elite and high society world. So of course she’s had to make her own fun.

Carmilla pretends to be the perfect dwarven daughter, but all she really wants to do is trick those smarmy rich families of their valuables. She can’t help it if it’s like a reflex now, can she? At Greenwood she doesn’t have many true friends, in her belief, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want a few. She plays the friend role when necessary but will strike with vengeance if she’s crossed or maybe even bored. The Order of Glaine is most likely going to be where she branches off to and even though her family has yet to choose a side; she’s only preparing for the inevitable. If the ends will justify her means, then she supposes she could join up once she’s older.

To the outside world, Zoey Pearson is considered an orphan. With a dead mother and a disappearing deadbeat father, Greenwood is her only stable home. Onlyto those who know better Zoey is far more of a threat than the gossipers at Greenwood Academy. Her past is half true–her mother is long dead–but her father is gone most of the time for more than just a trivial matter. Her father is a high leader in The Order of Glaine and she has been ordered with the task of gaining resources and allies while at school. In his twisted opinion, the youth are the key to the future and gaining the support of them can only help his cause. Of course, this means that Zoey is forced to live among those she was trained to kill and hate all her life. She is completely devoted to her father in every way; regardless of how he treats her. He holds all the power she one day hopes to receive. Arriving at Greenwood Academy when she was twelve, Zoey has managed to weave herself into the community but only just so.

Her hard exterior and complete lack of any tact made it difficult. Her father is counting on her to attain information and recruit anyone who could be of use to their cause. She holds many qualities of the rumored Russian spy sleeper cells within America and if someone were to compare her to them she would hold a lot of pride; just before she hit them. School is a difficult thing for her. Either Zoey already learned the material or she’s struggling to learn it for the first time. Her abilities are far more in her strength and strategy than in mathematics and literature. Already skilled in training, she’s begrudgingly had to limit showing off to her classmates and teachers as to seem normal. Most students either are intimidated by her or just don’t get along with her–and she can’t find it in herself to change that. Her studies can be put on the sidelines when she’s working on a mission for her father and she misses the bigger, more important missions she used to be tasked with. It seems as if he’s leaving her out more and more each day; a fact which she is desperate to avoid.

Socializing isn’t her strong suit and often she ends up in more arguments than she planned in one day. It’s not for a lack of trying; relating to those who don’t have a father that wants to control the world is just as difficult as it sounds. Her father’s plan is what takes up most of her time and now in her final year of school, Zoey plans on calling upon those she trusts and allies with in order to go out with a bang. Soon she will be able to show her full strength and no longer be viewed as an outcast with a superiority complex.
