Guys, WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!!! I don’t care what anyone says, Jax will always be my #1 favorite character! God this episode broke me….

Also, I know I’ll mostly get me flamed by so MANY people but just hear me out. Please.

I’m not saying that I don’t support everyone else’s interpretation of transfem/gender non-conforming/transmac/non-binary etc., Jax when I say that I honestly don’t agree that is what the song was about.

That was not what I got when the song ‘Isn’t she lovely’ played. I got something different with the context of Jax’s backstory and his character as a whole and how he deals with his emotions. I see it as Jax finally letting someone in and also realizing how much he cares for Pomni (regardless if it is romantic or not, even though I prefer the former). Also with how much Pomni was prominent in those quick flashes during the song, it just feels too intentional and not all that hard for me to get a different sense than everyone else. Hey, I admit I’m mostly blinded by my funnybunny glasses, but I’m going to stick by my own thoughts on this. Just, please be respectful and kind.

I’m open to every single different opinion, but no one is going to change my mind and I’m not trying to change anyone’s either. I’m only here to share my thoughts. That’s it.

But, just remember: we already have two adaptations of George Orwell's famous work that you can point people to.

The absolutely GOATED 1954 Animated Adaptation (which you can find free on YouTube)

And the 1999 live-action adaptation (which you can also find for free on YouTube)

And at least, with the latter, the only major sin it commits is trying way too hard to ape the success of Babe (1995) rather than... whatever the fuck Seth Rogen and co call themselves trying to pull.
