“lessplaining”.

Lesbophobia is...
basically everything coming from straight radical feminists at the moment.
Submitted by - anon.
Lesbophobia is...
the assumption that women who have never dated or slept with men somehow "escaped" compulsory heterosexuality
Submitted by anon.
Mod Note - This is not the position of this blog; all lesbians suffer under compulsory heterosexuality, however, we do recognise that some womyn were manipulated, coerced and pressured by heterosexual society to the point where they did end up in relationships of some description with men and that having survived that makes them no less a lesbian. L.
Lesbophobia is you mentioning an ex-boyfriend of yours and people excitedly asking, "wait, so you aren't gay?"
Submitted by @alexunbalanced
Lesbophobia is when the word lesbian has been treated like a dirty word for so long that I find it easier to call myself "gay". Submitted by @alexunbalanced
Lesbophobia is straight women saying "lesbians have the male gaze, too" and basically calling us men. Submitted by @pro-bending-bro-bending
Lesbophobia is being denied refuge at a woman’s shelter because they do not believe a woman can abuse someone, let alone another woman, and they view YOU as a danger to other women there based on your sexuality. Submitted by Eve.
Lesbophobia is when a boy couldn't get me to sleep with him, he got his girlfriend to get me drunk and made us have a three some.

Lesbophobia is men wishing they were lesbians so they could fuck us.

Lesbophobia is being silenced and accused of biphobia whenever lesbians try to speak about their past abusive relationships with bisexual women.

Just a reminder, due to the fact that anon. and submissions are off, to say when sending anything in if you wish your example of lesbophobia to be posted anonymously or if you wish me to respond to your question privately. If you don’t specify, I will automatically assume you wish to be tagged as the submitter. However if you contact me, I can make it anonymous, no problem.
I barely look at usernames, except to tag, when queueing submissions to the blog so I will certainly not remember your username and I will always one-hundred percent respect your privacy.
I am aware that by having anon. turned off that it may leave some of you feeling unable to send your submissions, but unfortunately that’s the way it has to be for the moment. I do hope you feel you can trust me enough, as a fellow lesbian, to respect your privacy with this.
On a separate note, if anybody is interested in becoming an addition mod. for this blog, please do get in touch.
L.
Lesbophobia is...
…bisexuals publicly posting lists of lesbians to go and harass and encouraging others to go and harass them as well.
Mod note - I'm not sure what this is in regards to, but I'm posting in good faith.
It's fun home not fun house
Very good point, anon. Once I'm back on my laptop I will go edit that!L x
to the anon who dated a transwoman - you aren't alone in this. You are not less of a lesbian for it.. You are ok. You are not transphobic for talking about your experiences. from another lesbian who ended up with a transwoman for a while (because i thought i would be bigoted if i didn't because of her biological sex, and i was still trying to force myself to be bi) and was afraid to talk of it after. you aren't alone
