// Sorry for being gone so long guys, but Iâm back! Â A lot of things really took up my time the past week or two, I canât remember cause thatâs how busy Iâve been. Â Iâll actually be online for the rest of the night (minus when I go eat in like half an hour), so hit me up if you want to rp!
Wei muttered under her breath in Mandarin before crossing her arms and glaring at Greg. Â He let out a sigh and ran his hand through his hair. Â He forgot how much of a handful she was when she drank.
"Iâm doing this for you," he tried to explain, but he just felt as if he was talking to a child. Â He turned to Alenis. Â "Has she ever drank while on the Normandy?"
The corner of Aleniâs mouth quirked upwards. âIâve heard stories,â she replied.
"I was afraid of that," he sighed, sitting down next to Wei with his back towards the counter. Â "Ah, well, itâs not her fault that she gets like that. Â At least, not directly anyways."
"Donât talk like I am not here," Wei grumbled. Â "It is not like I do this all the time."
"I know," Alenis said to Wei, laying a hand on her shoulder. Then she turned to Greg. "Would you maybe like to continue this conversation later? I think maybe I should get Wei back to the Normandy before she does any significant damage. We should all meet up for lunch or something," she said with a smile.
"Whatever works for you," Greg chuckled when he heard Wei protest leaving. Â "After all, you guys are the ones on the space ship, not me."

"He is, how do you say?" she swirled her beer around before turning to face Greg with a huge smile on her face. Â "An idiot, yes? Â Besides, when one is friend with Jim Kirk, women do not notice you."
"Wei, I think youâve had enough," Greg stood up and took the beer from her. Â He brought the bottle to his lips and finished it off, leaving it empty in front of Wei.
"Greg!" she whined before turning to the others. Â "Do you not see what I mean?"
Alenis raised an eyebrow. At this point she didnât really know who to feel sorry for; Greg in the current situation or Wei with the repercussions that would come later. Andrea couldnât help but giggle, which didnât really seem to help the situation.Â

Alenis chuckled. âIâll keep my fingers crossed,â she joked, then took a sip of her drink. âThe only lasting relationship Iâve ever had was tentative at best,â Alenis sighed. âAh well, Iâm only twenty-eight, Iâve got a while,â she smiled.
"Better than the situation Iâm in," he let out a chuckle before getting a refill of his drink. Â "Like they say, if it werenât for bad luck, Iâd have no luck at all."
"Oh come on, a handsome man like you? You must be swarmed with ladies," Alenis said with a playful grin.
He chocked on his drink, not expecting her to say that. Â How was he supposed to answer that? Â He couldn't lie and say yes; Wei would call him out right there and then he'd look like a bigger dork than he already was.
"Well," he dragged out the word slowly as he put down his glass. Â "I wouldn't call it that..."
"He is the one who does the swarming, yes," Wei interjected with a smug grin on her face as she took another swig.
Alenis nodded. âYeah, though I canât say Iâve had the privledge of that happening myself.â
"Itâll happen to you someday," he gave her a reassuring smile.
Alenis chuckled. âIâll keep my fingers crossed,â she joked, then took a sip of her drink. âThe only lasting relationship Iâve ever had was tentative at best,â Alenis sighed. âAh well, Iâm only twenty-eight, Iâve got a while,â she smiled.

"I donât," he swirled around the ice cubes in his glass. Â "Where do I start? Â Her sister, Willow, was the one who introduced us. Â I wasnât the best student at the Academy, so she became my biochemistry tutor. Â I took her out for a drink one night and things kinda clicked from there, you know?"
Alenis nodded. âYeah, though I canât say Iâve had the privledge of that happening myself.â
"It'll happen to you someday," he gave her a reassuring smile.
"I believe chatterbox is the word youâre lookinâ for," Andrea said with a grin, taking another swing of her drink. "Funny that youâre a Chief of Engineering, too. It must be a requirement to be under 5â4" to get the job,"âŚ

"Iâm the Junior Medical Officer," Alenis replied after she finished ordering a drink for the bartender."I donât do much, mostly just hang around and work on various projects until someone stumbles in that needs to be patched up."
"I can tell you that it's the same until you hit CMO," Greg chuckled after taking another swig of his drink. "I'm the Assistant CMO here and all I seem to do is just run around and do errands. Now that I think about it, I don't think I've even seen the CMO here..."
// Sorry for not being on lately guys! As Iâm sure that everyoneâs heard the same reason for inactivity, Iâm not going to repeat cause Iâm also in the same boat. Iâll try to be on more, but between band, school, and *hopefully* a job, I canât make promises. Sorry again for seeming like Iâve been anti social! Iâm really not because you guys are pretty awesome!

"I never really understood why they would always show that at Christmas time," Greg let out a small laugh. "Itâs always on at least once. Kinda cool how there are people who like the super old stuff though. Sounds a lot nicer than our misfit friends."
âGreg,â Wei stressed, hitting him in the side. She really didnât want anymore story telling about them.
"Alright, alright," he sighed before giving her a teasing look. "We could always talk about you instead." This time she punched in the arm, hard. He had to walk a little while rubbing his shoulder to prevent the string of curses ready to fall off his tongue from coming out. Greg almost forgot that she was stronger than she looked. âWhat was that for?â
"Please excuse him," she smiled to the others. "He says things without thinking first because really still is a child."
"Whatâs wrong with these two?" Andrea whispered to Alenis. Alenis responded with a slight shrug and a shake of her head.
"Well, do you guys mind if Wei and I joined you for a drink?" Alenis asked, posing the question to Greg and Andrea.
"That's if it's alright with everyone else," Greg gave Wei a worried look. He saw the uncertainty in her eyes, but it was gone just as fast as it came.
"I would love to join for a drink," she smiled as if everything was alright.Â
"Itâs from a really old childrenâs movie, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer," Andrea explained. "He and his friends go to the island of misfit toys to find them all homes. The joke was that we were the toys, and the Academy was our home."

Greg was taken aback a bit at the outbreak of Alenisâ s friend. âHi?â Greg was slightly confused. Once he recognized the accent, his mouth dropped open. âWei? I couldnât recognize you out of uniform! What are you doing here? Did you get shorter?â
"I am sorry for being rude earlier," Wei bowed politely to Andrea. "I am Wei Xiong."
"As for you!" Wei turned around and hit Greg in the arm. "I am the same height I always have been. The Normandy is on leave right now."
Andrea blinked slowly a few times, a bit confused by the womanâs reaction. âOh, yeah itâs alright,â she replied. âWaitââ
"âYou two know each other?" Alenis asked, finishing her friends sentence.
"AhâŚ.," Wei hesitated with her answer, blushing profusely before muttering "yes."
"Itâs kind of a long story," Greg ran his hand through his hair. "We were en - "
"Close!" Wei interrupted. "That is all!"
"Well, more complicated than that," he let out a long breath.
Suddenly it dawned on Andrea. âWait is this the girl you were talking about?â She exclaimed to Greg then let put a small âooffâ as Alenis elbowed her in the side.
"Andrea," she hissed a warning.
"Well kinda sorta yeah," Greg let out a sheepish smile. "I mean, it's not like it was a secret or anything..."
"But it is embarrassing to talk about," Wei muttered under her breath.
"You get embarrassed over everything," Greg told her. Wei shot him a glare and her just laughed.
After wandering around the first floor of shops, Wei and Alenis finally found a bar. It was tucked in a corner and if it wasnât for the sign, Wei didnât think that they would have been able to find it. It was a decent size place for a bar and the atmosphere was pretty relaxing. There were alreadyâŚ
"Do you know that man?" Alenis asked, first looking at her friend, then eyeing the blonde man and his dark haired companion. On second inspection, she realized that she recognized the manâs companion. "Andrea!" Alenis practically yelp as she ran over and threw her arms around her old friend.
Andrea whirled around at the sound of her name to see Alenis loping towards her. âAlenis!â she grinned as the bajoran woman gave her a rather violent hug. âItâs so good to see you!âÂ
Greg turned around the same time Andrea did, wondering who was calling her. She ran up to a Barjoran woman and looked like she almost tackled he. Greg made a mental note to never get on Andrea's bad side, she was much tougher than she looked. Next to Andrea's friend was another woman, but much smaller. She had a small smile on her face and he could have sworn he'd seen her before.
"So who are your friends here?" Greg stood up from his seat and walked towards the three ladies.
She chuckled. âThatâs true. Well, why donât you go drop those off and we can explore the ship?â
"Sure," Greg smiled. "Iâm going to have to know how to get around here at some point. Might help knowing where Iâm going so I donât run into people."
"Good thinking," Andrea grinned. "Well, you go drop those off and why donât we meet at a bar or something. Thereâs a pretty good one just down from the bakery."
"You mean Zero Hour?" Greg asked. "I met the owner. She's pretty cool and rumor has it that she makes amazing drinks. Yeah, I'd be down meeting up at the bar. Wouldn't mind getting a drink or two either."
"Nah," Greg quickly regained his usual demeanor. "Itâs just one box. Besides, itâs not your division or anything."
She chuckled. âThatâs true. Well, why donât you go drop those off and we can explore the ship?â
"Sure," Greg smiled. "I'm going to have to know how to get around here at some point. Might help knowing where I'm going so I don't run into people."
