I don’t have a huge reach online or anything so I don’t tend to get hate on my art. 99% of the time people are very kind. Though once in a while I will get a comment where I genuinely cannot tell if someone is trying to be rude or not???? Maybe it’s my specific flavor of neurodivergence but also I think some people online like to be overfamiliar with strangers on the internet???
I’m going to start doing reels for insta because the “algorithm” is dead set on trying to overstimulate everyone including me. Still images aren’t enough anymore. I don’t enjoy that social media is favoring video (especially ones where people show their face).
I’ve been pretty resistant to this as I just make drawings. I’m no video editor and my face isn’t a brand. It’s a miracle that I even update my TikTok from time to time tbh. Sometimes I just want to look at what other artists are making without movement or sound. Tumblr feels like one of the last places I can do that.
But the job market is ass and I need to get my work out there to pay my bills sooooooo wish me luck.

I wanted to see how my grayscale pen drawings would look digitally colored in.
Dusted off my ballpoint pens this week. Drew a meat portal and some other neat lil guys.
My feelings are intense. For better or for worse.
Curious if anybody has any thoughts on what they would like to see me draw or implement more in my art???

Self portraits from trying times. I’ve been inclined to be more vulnerable in my work these days despite feeling really uncomfortable with being perceived. I’m working through that discomfort and am going to do it anyways.
