I have shot pictures for far more years then I care to mention and always considered myself an amateur in every sense of the word. I love shooting pictures and capturing the world as I see it at the time, yet I still have a difficult time describing myself as a photographer. For me photography is the art form that I am best able to convey to others how I see the world, my perspective on any given scene. I have learned that the camera alone does not always capture my image or view digital and film greatly differ on the impact they make on any particular shot. I enjoy shooting both and am thankful that my favorite lenses work on both my Canon digital and Canon film cameras. I use Photoshop for all my photo editing and consider editing an important part in presenting an image for viewing.
