That’s another seriously cool feature of AmpKit. If you click on the name of your setup you’ll be able to edit its name, lock it (so the settings can’t be edited accidentally), favourite/unfavourite it, duplicate it or email it. Finally, you can click the pencil icon to edit your saved sounds.Ĭlicking the pencil icon activates the edit settings. You can also click the + symbol in the top-right of the app to add a new setup of your own (you’ll notice I have New Setup 10 in the screenshot below ready for editing). This will come in handy later if you’ve collected quite a few different sounds. You can also favourite some settings by clicking the space located by the little star. On this screen you can scroll through your options until you find the sound you’re after and simply click on it to activate it. They all work well and produce outstanding sound quality. I can say that it works with all of the interfaces I own ( GuitarConnect Cable, GuitarJack, AmpKit Link and my new addition … JamUp Plug). Getting one formality out of the way (that being “which interfaces work with this app?”), I’m able to point out one of this app’s advantages.

The findings of the review have implications for the future teaching of, and research in, the discipline. Most of the remaining studies were of stars, the solar system, and the concepts of size and distance. We used a conceptual framework of “big ideas” in astronomy, five of which accounted for over 80% of the studies: conceptions of the Earth, gravity, the day–night cycle, the seasons, and the Earth–Sun–Moon system. One hundred and three peer‐reviewed journal articles were examined, the majority of whose research dealt with conceptions of astronomical phenomena with 40% investigating intervention activities. This paper reviews astronomy education research carried out among school students, teachers, and museum visitors over a 35‐year period from 1974 until 2008. Analysis of the statistical data used Kolmogorov–Smirnov Two-Sample Tests with hypotheses confirmed at K–S alpha level 0.05 rs: p For these young people, concepts of the shape and size of the Moon and Sun were closely correlated with their Earth notion concepts and there were few differences between the cultures despite their contrasts.
