Ah, till the results are out I'm gonna be obsessing over what could I have done better!

I could have done some rendering but I'm not quite confident in my rendering skills ah. Maybe I'll do another one just for the sake of it.

I do like the line work though. Maybe I'll post the rendered ver with the first draft one.

Ahhh, everyone really did an amazing job. I was just looking through the entries and was listening to one of the audio entry. It was this lovely (I think) violin piece!

i just finished this acrylic painting for a “metamorphosis” assignment. as you can see the girl is transforming into the sunflower. i don’t actually like this painting. in fact, i kinda hate it. it was really rushed and i feel like i did the assignment without actually having any feeling behind it.

but i do think it’s important to create art you don’t like. that way, it’s easier to discover your true style and feel as an artist. even if you’re creating bad art, you’re still creating and learning no matter where you find yourself in the end.

maybe one day i’ll come back and adjust this.
