Don't Talk Buzzed {Virgil and Tobias}
Virgil paused what he was working on to refill his glass of water and grab some chips. He grabbed the first bag he saw and went back to his seat and inspected the screen as the weird computer system started to talk to him. Even if it was strange, he knew that itâor was it a she?â was right. âI got that,â Virgil said wiping his hands on his jeans so he wouldnât get salt on the keyboard. âThis should be fun.â
He started in slowly, sifting through the servers to find the one with the easiest access. He didnât want to make the ITs working to think that he was a professional. Once there, he smirked and immediately dove in, attacking anything and everything, making sure to make as much noise and damage as he could. He tried to emmulate the young hackers heâs seen when he was younger, who always made a big mess every time they hacked into another system. âYou watching them?â
"Watching them like a hawk," Tobi grinned as he took another sip of his soda. Cheerily, he watched as Abby immediately put up a dozen or so encryption to prevent any backhacking. The techs over there scrambled, all of their systems immediately flashing to life as they frantically tried to protect everything and anything. They were unorganized, just reacting to a threat, it wouldn't be long before a supervisor was notified and be online as well.
And there he was, coordinating the techs to try to fix the mess that Virgil was causing. "Abby, shut down all communication between the supervisor and his lackeys. Isolate him, I want to see what he goes for himself," Smugly, Tobi watched as the supervisor's system worked itself into overdrive as they realized they had lost contact. The remainder of the techs continued what they were doing but the supervisor was starting to take action. "Gotcha," Tobi cackled happily and began going through the files that the supervisor was protecting.
