I had a dream that Stampy was playing minecraft as a survivor of a zombie apocalypse.
Sqaishey got infected so Stampy had to leave the ruins they made home, to find a golden apple because he was so convinced that that's the cure for zombieism.
It was weirdly peaceful and cozy and he brought on other MCYTer, they were mostly acting like scavengers or looters but Stampy was so nice to them and gave them everything they asked for that they all eventually decided to help him.
And he was so upset about attacking zombies because "they're still people 🥺 they didn't ask to get infected 😔 its not their fault they're hurting people." And no one could convinced him that they're mindless violent drones. But he convinced everyone that their real consciousnesses were locked in their bodies. He was right.
THAT GOES CRAZY HARD
Imagine you've been killing zombies left and right to survive and some guy comes by and insists you take the moral highground about fuckin ZOMBIES. and you're like what the fuck??? but the thing is he's really nice, like, he's just a total sweetheart, and no one wants to make him upset, so, you know what, fine, whatever, you can spare them when possible, it's a bunch of extra work and you're 99% sure he's not right about this at ALL and his theories are just a coping mechanism but okay.
and then he just. cures somebody. right in front of you. he was RIGHT???? he made a theory based on villager biology and it WORKED????? and suddenly you realize you have SO MUCH BLOOD ON YOUR HANDS OH MY GOD and he's understanding about THAT too like "oh well you didn't know any better you tried your best at least you spared people later on 💖" like HEY DUDE
Ok now I'm so glad I started a dream journal so I can go back to this dream. I have lucid dreams so I rember them pretty well (if they're interesting to me). This is more of what I remember from my dream but also im just gonna add more story to it :)
Tommy was the MCYTer that I saw in the dream (which is weird becuase I dont really watch him. Other YTers were dream logic there you know when you know something is true in a dream but dont actually see it.)
Tommy was the first person Stampy met after leaving the ruins. They met by a dilapidated set of train tracks that had forests growing in on both sides but a meadow down the route the tracks went.
They were both looking for sheep so they could make beds for the night, and stampy was picking flowers so he could dye the other sheep pink to match it's friend. And Tommy took out his sword to kill the sheep but Stampy insisted on sheering them because "They put in so much effort into surviving in such terrible conditions, it's unfair to them to kill them after they worked so hard."
So they ended up wasting a whole day to find iron to make sheers to make 2 beds and in the end they rest in their beds near eachother and Tommy was like "See how much that wasn't worth it? Next time just do it the easy way." (Something with that sentiment, again I dont know Tommy well and dream logic is more vibes than real dialogue)
And Stampy was like "No i think kindness is always worth the effort."
And then next day they have a conversation about not hurting the zombies and the whole time Stampy is bone mealing the ground where he picked the flowers yesterday so that more will grow. Because "Its not right to hurt things for being what is their nature. The plants reclaimed this space because plants grow. The sheep grew becuase it's what sheep do. The sun set becuase that what the sun does. Zombies hurt people because that's what they're forced to do, it is their nature to be forced to hurt others. We have the freedom to harm or to heal things around us. I dont believe it's in our nature to harm, and unlike the zombies we have the choice."
And Tommy just quietly having an existential crisis because he was in survival mode for so long that he didn't bother trying to understand the world and his place in it. Also realising how the apocolypse made everything and everyone extremely easy to dehumanise.
Everywhere Stampy went he bone mealed the flowers.
