The noisy crowd of the bar, with intoxicated patrons being escorted out once they get too rowdy. . It made Helena internally cringe just a little. Not to mention the fact that the barstool she was currently sitting on was unbearingly uncomfortable. Yet here she is, because it’s her birthday. One year older, quite monumental.

She watched the bartender putting together drinks. Waiting for them to finish so she could put in an order, that’s when they placed the glass in front of her. Pouring the sweet smelling cocktail in and topping it with a blackberry and a slice of lemon. The red headed server pointed in the direction of a woman sitting a few seats away. Helena not-so-subtly turned her head to look.

Now she had gotten out of her seat, she took her drink with her, so she could sit next to the gorgeous woman who bought her it. When Helena realized who it was, and she almost dropped her glass. Taking a seat without asking if she could. She was definitely intrigued.
