Guys, please sign this petition. I can't tolerate Netflix blackwashing all North African figures (who aren't Black themselves)
They're erasing the heritage and history of my people, and casting Black Americans in these roles, who have nothing to do with the North African history ( cast my people instead !!) This must change. Let's make sure that stories, movies, and media reflect everyone's culture and history authentically !
Cancel Netflix's history of Hannibal
Something suddenly came to mind...
It was the mid-2010s (most likely 2016-2017), I was sitting and watching TV. I came across some history channel. And on this channel there was an animation in which Hannibal took poison from a green bottle. I remembered the bottle well - this bottle looked like a bottle of beer or wine. Exactly that same green glass bottle. Hannibal in that animation had white hair. He looked like Hannibal from the anime/manga Drifters.
Now I'm trying to find this animation, I doubt I'll find it. I don't remember the name of the channel, maybe the History Channel (and it's worth considering that I live in Russia, maybe it was a different channel... but the logo was yellow).
