Leo watches as you handle children with ease. How you play with them, throwing them over your shoulder yet slowing when they are about to hit the ground. Making the troublesome, little things laugh in pure glee.
He doesn’t understand it. The children, parents… you. It’s still all very confusing for him to dare and… date a baseline. He doesn’t know how to be social with baselines without scaring them off. He doesn’t know how to be kind when all he knows is of duty, death and war. He wasn’t created to be a husband nor a saint for some. He’s a war machine, and you? Hmm, the fuel he supposes. You definitely get his blood pulsing in strange ways.
He will never admit it publicly that he worries for you. It more so shown with actions. He likes you within his vision and scent range. He likes you when you’re by his side, admiring him and his speeches. Hell, he would even search for you himself because he knows you better than anyone else. You’re predicable. You’re his.
That’s another thing he wouldn’t admit out loud. To say it out loud. It’s not in the codex about having a relationship with a baseline but damn. It feels as if it should be. It feels as if he’s breaking a rule or a protocol. It feels wrong but that feeling hurts. That wrong and right batting inside of him every second he watches you. It’s again, confusing.
“My Lord.” He hears you address him through his clouded thoughts. Your voice shaking him out of it as his eyes flicker down to you. “Are you angry?”
He huffs and shifts his weight. The blue cloth of his himation swaying at the simple movement. His form rather… impressive in such simple, open clothing with those ports that give a little shine in the nearest sun. Though, let’s be fair. All of the marines are impressive. Yet to give him credit… he’s a Chaplain.
Though, Leo is not angry. No. He’s just was… having consuming thoughts, and it’s not about the confusion any more but about you. How you look, smell, taste, feel like. He can’t help but think about you 24/7. How you enrapture him so easily like a Slannesh temptress, and he considers that you are one but he’d also not be a Chaplain if he did. He knows what fools him and what doesn’t, and well… You certainly do. In the best ways at least.
“I’m not enraged, no.” He finally responds to you after a big moment of silence that it made you think, again. You’ve done something you shouldn’t have.
“You are usually not this quiet, My Lord.” You address your observant curiosities. Tilting your head with a gleam of amusement in your eyes. “Something catch your thoughts of speeches?”
“Do not tease me, woman.” His word and tone sound degrading but you know better. “Speech’s are good for encouragement, improvement, hope for their brothers to abide and come back safely…”
“…And what about Titus?” You can’t help but ask. Fighting against your own face muscles to keep a grin down when you can just tell he denies that poor captain.
“He is a rule-breaker.” He growls lowly, eyes locked onto you now. “He doesn’t follow what orders are given-”
“I’m beginning to think you two have history.” You say out loud, interrupting him. His expression going from split second puzzled to scowling.
“We do not-“
“What is it?” You continue anyway, pushing the Chaplains buttons. Daring to look away from a creation that could send you to the sun that shines on him in one throw. “Brothers from another mother? Sibling rivalry? Oh, there is so many to choose from…”
“Serf.” He warns lowly, shifting his weight again. The sound too quiet for you to hear.
“What about- eek!” The sound you give is almost like a mouse. Your hands grasping the solid, warm flesh that suddenly holds you at the sides of your stomach.
“Silence.” Leo commands of you. Holding you as if you’re a child and moving you somewhere else. Somewhere without the eyes of public to spy upon the two of you.
“M-my lord!” Another squeak leaves you. Your surroundings but a blur to your eyes except for the Chaplain himself. “T-this is not how to carry someone.”
“Must you be a nuisance?” He hisses lowly down at you in his hands that still hold you by the sides of your stomach. Observing more so how small you really are compared to him and his brethren. One hand practically hold you as his other shift under your thighs.
You would have blushed and teased him at the action if you didn’t feel how hesitant and careful he was being. Definitely confused on how to properly hold you as well… you’re definitely not his brethren that he can just jerk and pull into the sidelines and away from gunfire so harshly. He needs to be careful with you. He needs to learn you.
“Small.” He scoffs, and it sounds like a complaint. He’s frustrated that he doesn’t know how he should hold you and it embarrasses him.
“Here.” You brace yourself upon him. Your hands coming to grasp at his shoulders, and you try your best to wrap your legs around him. His hand that was wrapped around your stomach slides down your body. Not explorative. It was just an automatic reaction to hold you more comfortably.
The Chaplin simply gives you a grumble of distaste. The sound going through his chest and giving your own flesh a little vibration. His eyes staring at you like you’re a piece of meat, but you know better. You know better than to reject your chaplain. You know better not to run from his loving grumpiness either.
“Comfortable?” You peer at him, giving him a small, almost apologetic smile. Your fingers idly dragging up and down his collar bone in order to sooth your Chaplain.
“Hmh.” Leandros simply gives you a scoff but he can’t lie that your adjustment in position upon him was more comfortable. More… pleasing when he finds a secluded spot to sit so you can lay upon him and trail your fingers lightly over his hardened skin. Some version of a massage that makes him zone into the feeling and relax underneath you. All but a sleepy Chaplin now.
“Sweet thing.” You purr down at the Chaplain, getting yourself comfortable on-top of him. Daring to press your lips to the bottom of his jaw so softly that it just feels like a feather is kissing him. “So handsome and cute.”
“I am not… cute.” He grumbles again, but doesn’t move you away from him. He wants your touch. He wants your praises that he never gets from others but himself. He wants you as if he’s a possessive Slannesh daemon himself.
By the throne, he always wants you.
“Hmh, cute.” You can’t help it. Teasing him. It is just so easy. So easy to get him worked up, and if you’re lucky? You can make him a mess for you. That is if he’ll let you anyway. You know his strength. You won’t take it for granted that if he wants to be dominated and worshipped for a moment? He’ll let you before he’ll switch the dynamic up real quick.
“You tease.” He hisses lowly, giving your rear a nice squeeze. Both his low voice and action sending a pleased tingle through your nerves, and oh… don’t forget those eyes of his. Watching every single little detail your body would betray you for his own attention. “Perhaps you need punishment.”
“Aw.” A fake pout leaves you as you pull back slightly but come forward again to nuzzle under his jaw this time. “Must I? I won’t be able to hear your speeches if you do.”
Leandros hums, and you can feel him swallow as he thinks over your words. His hands giving an occasional, light squeeze to your rear as if you’re a stress toy. “Your worry is noted but it will not change the outcome.”
“And what of this supposed outcome?” You muse against his throat, giving it another feather-light kiss. “To have me beneath you? Tangled within your sheets that smell only of you, my lord?”
“You learn well.” He purrs lowly, nuzzling into the top of your head. Inhaling your scent. “Shall I reward you instead?”
“No, my lord.” You deny him, shaking your head. Your honesty… disappointing him a little bit as he felt his hearts drop in his chest. Dejected. “Let me reward you.”
His hearts rise again.
“Reward me?” Leandros questions you, curious with what you could possibly do for him. His gears in his head a little rusty as he simply watches you get more comfortable on top of him. Your hands gently, slowly leading his to hold you by your thighs.
“Yes.” You confirm with nod rather than a shake of your head this time. One of your hands snaking down between his cloth to appease his warm length. Then does the gears in his head click into motion.
“Little Serf.” His voice sounds like he’s warning you but he doesn’t pull away either. His hands easily giving your thighs a squeeze to see bruises later. “You dare?”
“I do.” You give another nod, pulling his length free. Stroking him a few times before positioning it at your entrance.
“Serf-“ He tries to warn you but gives a surprised grunt when you slowly sink yourself down on him with small whimpers leaving your lips. Clearly not prepared for him, and he’s not sure if he should be proud or worried for you.
Though, non of you move to stop your own progress. You’re already upon him, why stop? Why stop when he feels like nothing could ever compare? That nothing else could fill you up so perfectly? Without an ounce of space to be wasted inside of you. It’s delicious. Painfully so, but by the throne… Do you crave this warrior. To have him inside of you so fittingly.
Leandros on the other hand is struggling not to ruin you. He wants to thrust up into you. To punish you for taking him but he also knows that if he ruins you too well? You might break and unable to do the same thing in a long time. Unable to reward him like you do, and well… unable to at this speeches but he’ll know where you are at all times. So, he supposes their is a plus side to it…
“Careful.” He grunts, clenching his jaw before throwing his head back. Absolutely in bliss with how such a small thing like you can take him- or struggles to with the way your legs already shake once you start to move up on down on him.
Muffled grunts leave the Chaplain as he does rather a good job at hiding it. His hands had been moved to capture your own hands to steady you while you take him as you please. Your hips turning a darker color, exhausted with doing the same roll of the hips and up and down with a squelch to keep him satisfied.
You’ve been at him for an hour or more. A record perhaps as you wanted to try and make him climax before you do, but that is honestly wishful thinking, and your own climax comes unexpectedly. Your body tensing up, legs shaking before you sink down upon his length with a whimper.
Leo is surprised but not unhappy. His hands that were grasping yours are let go of slowly. The same hands trailing down your overstimulated body gently. Pulling you into a hug in hopes to sooth you despite how much he wants to flip you and take control… He recognizes your effort to try and keep up with him. How could he not? How could he not look at you: upon him, wanting him with those wonton sounds and rolling movements of yours?

Hura had heard… rumors, of an astartes fighting ring on the outskirts of town. That it was big, and took place in one of the old run-down buildings that littered Gannet Point. One that, most likely had no apothecary oversight, given it’s secretive nature.
He quietly approached the supposed location, it seemed to be an abandoned warehouse of sorts. The barbed wire fence rusted and broken in places, the whole building dilapidated, a large “Condemned” sign weathered and faded on the front doors.
Pallas was once again supervising the latest fight, a boring duel between an emperor’s children and… some kind of loyalist. He didn’t really care to figure out all the different types, besides, these two were more sparring than fighting.
“Pallas, there’s a trespasser outside.” One of the astartes told him.
“And?” he responded. “This is my problem?”
“It’s a Death guard. It looks like an apothecary.” The marine snarled.
“Fine, I’ll go chase him off. Let me know if those two idiots decide to actually fight instead of… whatever the fuck they’re doing.” Pallas sighed “Come on Arapaima, we might get to actually fight someone.”
The pair left the building, and sure enough, there was an apothecary outside. A plague marine, tall and rotting. Flies buzzing about his horned helmet, his flesh and armor becoming one in places across his body.
They approached in tandem, Arapaima slightly ahead of Pallas should the trespasser threaten them.
“You’re a long way from base, aren’t you?” Pallas said, glaring at the marine. Arapaima hissed, his mouth slightly open, all of his eyes looking at the stranger.
“I am. I have heard rumors, that there’s a fighting ring around here. I came to check for patients.” Hura responded, pointedly staring at Pallas.
“Have you now?” Pallas questioned. “Looking for patients, is that really what you’re doing? Or are you lying to me?”
“I am not foolish enough to lie in this situation.” He asserted. “You’re also covered in… something... would be a pain to clean if It dries.”
“And do you know what it is?” Pallas taunted.
“I do. I assume that the poor bastard deserved it as well.” He noted, “That being said, I am Apothecary Hura, and if I am not mistaken, you, baseline, are Pallas.”
Arapaima let out a growl, thumping his tail on the ground, bracing for a fight.
“And who the fuck told you that?!” Pallas snarled.
“I was informed of you and the rest of your pack by Melinth. The loyalist apothecary.” Hura stated. “I haven’t come to cause problems, I am only here to help others.”
Pallas narrowed his eyes at him, Hura supposed if he had a tail it would be angrily flicking like a cat’s.
He took a breath, “Then, trust that we know what we are doing, and that, well, Melinth doesn’t need to know about this.” Pallas hissed.
“Very well… should any combatants need medical attention, send them to Rot Bone Base. If they are worthy, of course,” Hura responded. “And if they are… unworthy, lets say, I would be interested in acquiring any scavengeable parts.”
“Continue…” Pallas said, his demeanor slightly changing, almost curious.
“Geneseed, Organs, implants. It would be a shame for them to all go to waste.” Hura said.
Pallas cracked a small smile, as Arapaima closed his jaws.
“It seems, we have a deal then, Apothecary… we will… leave the unworthy at your base, and we can always negotiate price.” Pallas mused.
“Excellent, I look forward to it.” Hura affirmed. “Goodbye, cousins.”
“Goodnight, Apothecary.” Pallas said.
Hura promptly turned around and left. Careful to not leave too fast or too slow, which would earn him suspicion from the pair. Sabotaging the careful work he just completed, securing new patients, new information, and well… new study materials.
They watched as the Apothecary left, his lumbering form slowly retreating into the darkness.
“Well. That’s settled. Let’s go see if those two decided to fight or not.” Pallas asserted, pleased with the idea of having a more efficient way of disposing of the unworthy.

You don't know why he's getting so excited but perhaps hunting was what he needed and you supposed the act of providing is what he needed to do more.
It was also nice- you love him dearly, to get some breathing room and time away from your Bonded Astarte. For he can be an incredibly intense man.
The eager look in his eyes when you say he should go hunting more after he told you how he managed to hunt the boar and the two wounded creatures he found in the woods as well.
You can't help but smile and chuckle to yourself a little bit- your silly Astarte can be so goofy sometimes. But you adore him dearly, he's so caring and attentive... even if he's a bit intense at times.
You just kissed him as you told him how very empathetic of him to put down animals that clearly were dying slowly not knowing the truth. Petras pounced and you could only tease about getting him a chest freezer to encourage him to go hunting more of this is what he needed.
You squeak in surprise by the way Petras picks you up and carries you to bed and paws at your clothing. Pressing kisses into your face and you moan as he teases you open.
You panted as his hips slapped into yours as your legs were spread wide as you were stuffed from both him having just fed you with the boar and now he was working on his second load inside of you.
"Oh yeah I'm getting that chest freezer for you if this is how you'll treat me." You say with a giggle.
He puts a hand to your throat causing you to moan before pulling you into a kiss, "Let me provide for my beloveds needs."

Your mom had been upfront about how your biological father, whoever the fuck he was. Was not in your lives. And she was glad to be rid of him. You and your sister had seen the way that even talking about this mysterious Him would upset her.
How she'd blink back tears and look away. How she admitted to the two of you that the pair of you reminded her of him in different ways. Your twin sister has his temper. While you have his more... manipulative tendencies.
Which you weren't sure was a good thing. Also, your mom really didn't want to talk about Him. And that although she would, if you really wanted to know about Him. She would talk about Him. But only if you told her why you wanted to know about the Mysterious Him.
Honestly, you weren't surpised that you and your twin sister weren't bio kids of your stepdad. Your younger siblings looked a lot like him. Blonde haired, blue eyed, tall and much fairer skinned.
Also, your stepdad treated you and your sister differently, than he does your other siblings. He gives them more time, more attention, more money, more resources.
You shake your head, wondering why you are even thinking about all of this when, all you want to do is pamper Hura a little bit. Perhaps it's because of the baby swelling in your belly that the thoughts of parents and parenthood have such shit coming into your head.
Quite frankly, all that your mom was willing to tell you about Him was enough. And you didn't really care to know about more. Occasionally you wondered if you might have half siblings somewhere out in the world due to the Him that your mom had been with.
"I want to give you a massage." You tell Hura, after dinner today.
He blinks at you a little surprised, but his crooked grin fills your heart with warmth, "if that's what you want to do dear hear, then go ahead. How naked do you want me to be, darling~"
You blush up at him, "As naked as you are comfortable with. Mr. Hura."
You pout up at him, while sex is fun, and massage can lead into sexy fun times. You had felt the sudden urge to... well. Not be nest-y behavior. But to be close to your Bonded.
You have yet to tell him about the pregnancy. But- from what Cedric warned you, the hormonal change will be noticeable in your scent to your Bonded very soon.

Hura followed you up to his bedroom, it has the larger, sturdier bed and bed frame and he undresses as much as he can, with his armor partially fused to himself.
Also, you hadn't realized what with how... unusual Hura looked that he was fertile. You had heard from some others and through careful searching online that mostly Chaos Marines don't beget children on their humans that could carry babies usually.
Especially Death Guard. You keep your face the same as you ruefully remember what your mom had warned you about when you'd first gotten your period.
You grab some unscented lotion, partly because most scents seem to bother Hura, and also make your skin itch and sneeze. And start to warm up the lotion a little bit as you start working on rubbing the stress out of his armor.
He's so big, and so strong, helping you move his arms and legs this way and that as you continue to massage him. Making sure not to make your hands sore from rubbing too hard. Hura had said that you didn't have enough strength to hurt him. In a rather amused way when you'd asked about putting too much pressure on certain joints.
Once you finished rubbing him down with your hands, you ask Hura to flip over on his belly again. Which he does. part of your mind twinges and almost feels like breaking when you see certain parts of his body. You look away to make sure that your eyes don't glaze over and your head doesn't go fuzzy.
You start carefully stepping on his shoulders and back. Hearing cracking popping sounds. Hura groans in pleasure and lets you know where to continue to walk. He has started to purr, the deep, rumbling noise vibrates up from your feet all the way up to the crown of your head.
Once you finish the massage, you see the way Hura is all limp and relaxed and it makes you smile and giggle. You let out a play shriek when he moves faster than you can see and pulls you into a hug.
"I love you," Hura says to you adoringly.
"I love you two Hura," You say pressing a kiss to his face, which he eagerly responds to.

"This is an important pilgrimage that you undertake, brother." The highest-ranking brother- and Marshal of the Tanabrae Crusade says with a pensive expression face.
"It is," Efrius says with a nod of his head, "My Apprentice- he's at the journeyman stage of his training, and I think he's ready to take on a greater role within the Crusade. He's passed many of his trials."
"That he has, brother," Marshal Bernard affirmed. "Very well, we shall speak with the Crusade at dinner- and have a feast in your honor. May your travels take you to Glorious Battle- and may you find what you are seeking, brother."
"Thank you, Marshal Bernard," Efrius says nodding to the older Black Templar.
The Gilding to the other's armor marks him as a Blessed, Chosen Emperor's Champion, a rare being to be found on Ancient Terra, but one that the Tanabrae Crusade takes pride and solace in.
The day comes to a close- and chores are done, his flock is tended to and the recitation of prayers done- and food being eaten with enjoyment.
He gets up and announces his Pilgrimage to find his Soul Mate- his counter is winding down quite fast. It is a pilgrimage that he will take on alone- per the strictures of their Chapter, his brothers are both happy, and sorrowful. Happy- that he's going to go, and sorrowful to have him leave them, for however long it takes for him to find his Soul Mate.
His Apprentice, Finn approaches him after the meal and he smiles at the younger brother- a Primaris Marine, which he hadn't known was something the Mechanicus had come up with- in the M42 or so. A Large lad- with a good, stalwart hearts, and dutiful nature.
"You are ready for this test, my s- younger brother," Efrius says warmly tugging his younger brother in for a hug and resting his forehead on the younger, and taller Son of Dorn's forehead.
"Yes sir," Finn says, "I hope you find one who is worthy of you, brother."
"My thanks," Efrius says with a fond smile at his younger, larger brother.
He is given the blessings and hopes of his brothers- and supplies as he continues on his way- parting from them as he closes his eyes and spins, before setting off the direction that the God Emperor chooses for him.
He glances down at his Soul Timer- and sees that he's gone in the correct direction, his soul timer is spinning down faster than before. He walks in silence- the area of Ancient Terra he's in is lovely.
Slowly, over several hours of silence- save for the sounds of birdsong and nature's noises, he sees the marks of humanity- and of civilization as the area goes from wild lands, to natural, to Urban.
Roberta had been in a different city when her father had been murdered by Gallan and his greedy ilk. When she had been informed of the betrayal of her father- she had moved- and her speed- and it was if the world held it's breath and blinked.
Roberta staggers to her father- crying out for him sobbing, her father telling her who had betrayed him, as well as comforting his sobbing child, letting her know that he loved her still- and that he'd not truly die, so long as McCragge still stands.
With cold fury- and her army at her back- she rousted the traitors, the nobles that riled the grounds and were blundering, murdering, raping, pillaging the beleaguered populace.
Roberta found Gallan- that bastards traitor who murdered her father- and cried challenge to him. Angry- cold and sharp, bitter and filled her lungs and enhanced her strength as she fought the bastard.
The words that Gallan said- his short sightedness on why he was doing this and the way he suddenly smirked and the way he eyed her felt like he was trying to unclothe her with his eyes.
It made her shudder internally at that disgusting sensation. Gallan whispered so that only she could hear, "Girl- witch child- too strong, too clever, too big. Once I beat you - I shall steal you away like Sabine to Roma and you'll be my wife. And I shall teach you your place."
"You are disgusting!" Roberta seethes, but keeps her voice low, so that only he hears her, "I am to be no one's wife!"
Roberta manages to win the fight and slay the traitor- to the cheering of her army.
