For a time now, yes; I suppose I'm just not terribly used to the practice of talking about your other half, I don't get out too terribly often as is. His name I may have to ask him about discussing; but, you would be the first to know, I assure you.

I keep telling people this shit in real life and they don’t believe me. I’ve seen it from multiple sources, and this just adds another (albeit usually unreliable) source. This is actually legit, guys. This is how your eyes move when you’re thinking about something. It’s actually a good way to tell if someone is lying or not, because they’ll look to their left (your right, durr) when they’re constructing false memories, and to their right when they’re actually remembering them.

The motion Rose had made by rubbing her thumb over Fin’s knuckles hadn’t broken him from his concentration, no. …In fact it probably helped him focus on what was real and what was not. His eyebrows twitched a little at the sensation and he made a small sound from his throat, as if he wanted to say something, but instead hesitated. He definitely felt that, but from where he stood in the vision, no one was holding his hand.

That’s what made him question reality. This place he was in didn’t exist, and neither did this body. Everything in this vision was fake.

Nothing was real.

What was real was Rose who was sitting right in front of him.

Fin—inside the vision—kept his eyes shut, while the Fin who was sitting on the couch and holding Rose’s hands, slowly tried to open his eyes.

But it was proving difficult.

Another sound escaped him, something like a grunt. And his closed eyes seemed to twitch a little from the effort of trying to open them.

Okay…he had to try and relax somehow. So he took in a small breath and quietly exhaled her name, and at the same time he began to stoke his thumbs against her skin. He couldn’t really feel anything. It was almost numb, but the heat her hands were giving off was gradually making it’s way through to Fin, along with the softness of her skin.

This was actually a very good start.

For a moment you become concerned, believing him to sound distressed, but then he says--no, breathes--your name and you feel your heart clench. Yes, im fine!! but the front windows were completely destroyed… other than that nothing else was broken.
