black barbarian dragonborn!!

I've been itching to make some dragonborns lately and thought I might start with this fellow

current work on the a-z challenge!!

I'm doing this little challenge to try to improve so far I'm pretty pleased! but I think I'd like to go back and take another swing at the Cerberus ( I was really focused on trying to make the dog bit look right and not so much how it looked overall) I can do better.

would also like to go back and do some polish on the blue dragon. I've been a bit busy so it's a little rushed.

the first creature in my A-Z monster challenge the Aarakocra

The mighty Aarakocra, on the wing. This particular one is based on a philippine eagle. This was a lot of work and a lot of studying (I don't think I've ever attempted realistic bird wings before), but I'm so happy with how it turned out. Soooo many feathers, but totally worth all the effort <3

The hope is to compile all of these into a little booklet, but until then here's this month's print! If you're interested in supporting this project or voting on the next monster consider tossing me a coin.
