Finally getting the zodiac pages done 😅
One of the reasons that my book of shadows focuses so much on the pagan/wiccan/Roman/etc... calendar is that I use witchcraft as a coping mechanism for my ADHD and anxiety.
I get a paralyzing feeling of dread when I am under pressure so I stop cleaning my house or accomplishing important tasks or feeding myself. I literally let my tooth rot until it fell out of my mouth on its own. I can get things done, but not the things I actually NEED to do.
So I use the ritual of witchcraft to help form traditions and habits that help me take care of myself!
Matronalia? Perfect time to do a breast exam
Kallynteria? Today is the day to vacuum the apartment in honor of Athena
It's a full moon? Take a fäncy bath, then scrub the tub or pick the clothes up off the bathroom floor!
Alfarblót? In honor, of the goddess Freya's chariot pulled by cats, I will get my oil changed.
It's kind of silly, but if I disguise actual tasks as silly things without any sense of pressure or immediacy and spread them out, I trick my brain into wanting to do them. And if that's not magic, I don't know what is.
Book Of Shadows
。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆
I've been editing my Book of Shadows for a few days now and I think it's time to share some of it here. These are just a few excerpts from it. I purposely made it black&white so it looks Victorian and uses less ink when printed on parchment paper.
1. History of Paganism
2. Satanic Panic
3. The Sacred Circle & Altar
4. Lunar Transit
5. Moon Phases
6. Wheel of the Year + Imbolc
Keep in mind that these are just some of the random pages I picked so it's unorganized. I'll be sharing my Table of Contents next time to show you how I organized it all.
P.S. Almost all of the fonts are free to download from Dafont. So if you want any font from these pages let me know :) We do not gatekeep here!

[ID: Series of Tweets by Hogan @Hogan698 “American tank mechanic here. Some advice. Tanks are bad at urban combat. They need infantry support. Without boots on ground they're just big targets with poor visibility. Rifles should aim for the periscopes, but most importantly the sight unit on top of the turret. Take down street signs. Don't let the enemy know where they are. Move signs to the wrong streets. Tanks are super heavy, so try to direct them to streets that can't hold their weight. They can't move if they break through to the sewer. Break the tracks if you have explosives. Tracks are also terrible for catching stuff like barbed wire/concertina wire. Line the streets with anything that can get sucked in and tangle up. The engine needs to breathe, so throw your molotov cocktails at whatever looks like an intake for the engine. It has rubber belts, hoses, and fuel lines. Tanks are a logistical nightmare. They need a supply chain a mile long for service parts, and especially fuel. They can usually only go about 300 miles on improved roads on one tank of fuel. Stop the supply line, and a tank is just a giant pile of useless iron. Visibility is rather poor from an armored vehicle. If you paint dinner plates to look like mines and set them upsode down in the street, the tank crew won't be able to tell if they're real or not. The U.S. ARMY likes to fight at night because we have thermal imagers. Thermal picks up heat, so you can not hide behind a bush, but anything that is ambient temperature just looks like a black square. They can't see through windows because the glass is ambient. Cut up cardboard boxes and put them everywhere. The cardboard is the same temperature as the environment. Hiding behind anything that obscures vision only works if they don't have thermal. Sheets of cardboard in every bush, tree, etc. Will just be a square in a thermal imager. Set them up everywhere as distractions. Make a chaos terrain for the enemy.”]

Simple Witch Tip:
🧵🔮If you're gonna put a patch onto something, that's the perfect opportunity to draw some sigils and put them in there, so you carry that energy with you. (This is brilliant if you're in the broom closet or if you simply want a secret magical boost in your clothes.)
What you need:
Sigils and their intention
Cloth to inscript the sigils on (it can be small, I used a piece of ribbon I had lying around)
Pen (I used a classic one, but if you're doing it with white clothes/you're planning on frequently washing the thing, I suggest looking for something unwashable)
Patch (Either with something witchy or whatever type of patch you need to sew atm)
Needle and thread
The thing where you're gonna put your patch (it can be a bag, a jacket, a bedsheet, honestly whatever you want)
Steps:
1- Draw the sigils in the cloth, small enough that they fit behind your patch. Remember your intentions and your purpose.
2- Bless them/Enchant them/Activate them. Whatever you see fit according to your practice and occasion.
3- Half sew the patch, put the sigils in the "pocket" and finish sewing it. It's a great moment to practice mindfulness, put on a meditation. Also, visualize how you infuse the magick and intentions in your project, in your garment where you're doing it, and in your sigils.
Pro tip: put some witchy music on while sewing so you get really inspired.
That's it! You got your own enchanted garment! Enjoy your magic!🌒🌕🌘
It's really simple and practical, hope you get inspired by it💜
A section of my favorite type of magick in my book of shadows! 🖤🔮
astrological aspects; my digital grimoire series.
