This was definitely a combination of a lot of things, but one thing I think is that my brain is throwing a fit from how many posts on this blog are not exactly canon to my Grimsley anymore (due to the de-activation and separation of previous blogs).
So I wanted to come on here and ask if me starting a fresh Grimsley blog (still the same Grimsley with the same personality, Pokemon, and connections) would be a good idea. And if people would be willing to spread it around once I get it up and running.

I'm Burgh, Unova's tip-top bug type specialist! Not to mention Castelia City's a-MAZ-ing gym leader~ You could say I heard some of my friends were scurrying around here, and I wanted to see what all the buzz was about... so here I am! Let's all discover new things and share our love for pokemon, hmm?
When I'm not battling as gym leader, I love to make art. In fact, it's my very favorite thing to do! You can even find some of my works in Castelia's own art gallery from time to time. I'm a painter at heart, of course, but I find art in all its forms to be so insectibly fascinating!
I'm afraid just following me on Rotumblr won't get you many sneak-peaks into my upcoming works, though. Aha, in fact, I don't really think I have many sneak-peaks to give out, even if I wanted to. I work a bit on impulse, you see-- whenever inspiration strikes me, that's when I do most of my work!Sometimes even I don't know when my next painting will be completed...
Ah, but enough about that. After all, I don't mean to imply that battling is a second-rate hobby of mine! No, no, not at all! Battling alongside my bug type pokemon is also my very favorite thing to do! Especially with my Leavanny. Did you know that a Leavanny's forelimbs are oh-so-very sharp? They're made for cutting very precise measures of the silk it secretes from its mouth, but they do just fine in battle, too! Leavanny learns how to use Slash the very moment it evolves and can master Leaf Blade at a remarkably low experience level... just another reason bug type pokemon are so amazing.
...I should know, since I've trained so many of them! Perhaps you'd like to meet them all? Check under the cut for an extensive list ❤️

Piers' uncle...Piers' uncle... Elite Four Grimsley is PIERS' UNCLE! A complete wildcard... Much of what I've gathered of his strength in battle and strategies is nothing more than hearsay. I don't know how to separate rumors from fact. Not that it much matters. A Houndoom... I can't imagine a relative of Piers thinks very kindly of me. Think, Rose, think-- what makes him tick? How do I appear nonthreatening? There's nothing I can leverage against him! nothing- ... ...Ha. Wildcard. That's awfully appropriate, isn't it?

Hey Grimsley! Any advice for a beginner gambler?
...A "beginner gambler", you say~? Ahaha, well first and foremost, I must encourage checking the gambling laws of whatever region you live in. As annoying as they may seem, these are typically set in place with one's own good in mind.
For someone who's looking into entering the erm... "gambling scene", I wouldn't recommend starting out at a casino or any other setting in which you may get into trouble money-wise.
Alternatively, you can purchase a set of your own poker chips to use instead of money. While in casinos these poker chips do represent actual money, they don't have to if you're just playing with friends. You can even use other items to wager as well~! I would recommend going this route if you simply have an interest in card games or other tabletop games.
...If you're seeking opportunities to earn real money and "make it big"... Firstly, don't get your hopes up. A majority of gambling is based on luck first, skill second. There's a big chance you won't earn any money. What you want to avoid is going into any sort of debt. That can become messy extremely quickly, ahaha~!
Hm, all that to say, just gamble responsibly. Don't let things get out of hand.
