also yeah the thing about Eating Pussy is that it's like... telephoned from "men are performatively disgusted by vaginas as a way of affirming their masculinity through misogyny" and also "men dont really know how to pleasure women during sex and often do not care to" but by this point it has just kinda been flattened to "express morality by participating in a specific sex act"

also the flipside to this (ha) is the way Men Getting Pegged is still, like, reinforcing the idea that being penetrated is synonymous with weakness/femininity/subservience, even if it's being used on the surface for #girlpower stuff. like yeah cis men generally have baggage around being penetrated that they should probably get over (i do not think trans men need to shoulder that burden, considering) and a more feminist egalitarian man is more likely to have done that work, but. maybe think about the implications if you see a male character obeying a female character in a nonsexual context and go "haha i bet he gets pegged"
