The beginning of the circus' new Ringmaster.

This takes place in an alternate universe during episode 8 where Caine loses himself in his own self sabotaging corruption instead of allowing his own ego get the better of him. After no one has seen him for so long and with the corruptions getting worse and worse, they send Ragatha to go look for him in his office, only for this scene to play out.

Ragatha tries to reach out for him only to struggle, it isn't until Caine latches onto her that they both corrupt. And it's that moment that Ragatha understands what Caine was doing, why he was doing everything he did.

Two people pleasers who went unnoticed and hated in their own eyes.

And after their shared final scream, the world blips, only for Ragatha to look down to find Caine gone and only this umbrella where he once sat.

Meaning, you really enjoy the character but the story they're in fails to give them much of anything to do or just treats them so miserably, that you want to take this character and put them in a better story. Because they have potential, but whoever made the character clearly had no interest in exploring them.
