A Prayer for Believers
We’re studying the Book of Ephesians this month. Today we’re reading Ephesians 1:15-23.
Hear what Paul prays for (us) Believers! I pray that God makes you intelligent and knowledgeable of Him, For your clarity and focus to see God's exact calling for your life and that, You'll understand the glorious life He has for you, and, Understand His Great Power that raised Jesus from the dead, and, placed Him (Jesus) in authority over everything in this world, Making Christ the Head of the church (us) and that the Church is His Body that He fills with His Presence!

Faith & Patience
We look everywhere for a quick schemes. Get-rich quick, lose weight quick, learn quick, etc. We are living in a "microwave" age where we want everything Quick.Fast. and in a Hurry.
We live in a "microwave" age.
In the book of James, the 1st chapter, it's a lot different. Here we are told that we are going to experience troubles. We are told to have joy while we experience these problems because it is a testing of our faith. Trust is believing and knowing without a shadow of doubt that God will come through. Faith requires patience. Patience means wait a while. The while doesn't have a timer, it can be fast or slow, but waiting definitely comes with the territory. It's important while we faithfully wait to believe and stay focused on the goal.
SMLXL
We absolutely can not be double minded. We must have faith and be patient when we ask anything of God. For example, to ask God for a house, you have to believe God for the house. If you turn around and say, "I'll never get a house", you're faith is not in action. If you ask God to help you and then you do things your own way, this is a lack of patience and it says that you don't trust God for His perfect way. Every thing in your life takes FAITH and PATIENCE.
James 1:2-8:
2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.
5 If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. 6 But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. 7 Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.
Don’t Worry About What Others Think!
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1-2)
We often say, "don't worry about what others think". I agree that we shouldn't worry, but we must be aware of the impact that we have on others. Because we are epistles read of all men, we must lay aside everything and every sin that would hinder us from being all that God wants us to be. We must patiently run the race that we've been given. None of this can be done without fixating our eyes on the prize, our Savior Jesus Christ! He did it all, as ugly as it was for the Joy set before Him and SO.CAN.WE!
The Veil is Removed!
Grace and Peace!
I thank God for removing the veil from my life!
We don't have to worry about God's glory fading away from us, we have the ability to communicate with God our Father and the Holy Spirit helps us to understand Him.
It doesn't matter what you are going through or how bad it has gotten, you can now live free. You can give God all of your problems and ask Him to show you the way out of them. It's then up to you to get some sleep or some rest while you wait on His answer. Once you receive the answer you can then run and get it done, but you don't have to worry.
God's Glory won't fade like it did in Moses' day. If you stay connected, He will stay right there and give you peace in the middle of that problem. He will bless you if you believe Him for the blessing!

He wants to to bless you and that is why He removed the veil!
Trust Him for your happiness today!
2 Corinthians 3:7-18:
7 The old way,[a] with laws etched in stone, led to death, though it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses’ face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away. 8 Shouldn’t we expect far greater glory under the new way, now that the Holy Spirit is giving life? 9 If the old way, which brings condemnation, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new way, which makes us right with God! 10 In fact, that first glory was not glorious at all compared with the overwhelming glory of the new way. 11 So if the old way, which has been replaced, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new, which remains forever!
12 Since this new way gives us such confidence, we can be very bold.13 We are not like Moses, who put a veil over his face so the people of Israel would not see the glory, even though it was destined to fade away. 14 But the people’s minds were hardened, and to this day whenever the old covenant is being read, the same veil covers their minds so they cannot understand the truth. And this veil can be removed only by believing in Christ. 15 Yes, even today when they read Moses’ writings, their hearts are covered with that veil, and they do not understand.
16 But whenever someone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.
Be A Light at work!

Be A Light at work today.
Be A Light at Home!
Be A Light at home!
Pray for everyone in your home. See them through God's eyes. He made them and loves them, now you do the same. Encourage the people in your home today.
Can I Be A Light?
Question: Can I be a light?
Answer: Absolutely!
Whether you are new in Christ or a Seasoned Saint, you have the duty and the ability to share your love for God with everyone you know. Pray and ask God to show you how to show His love always in your everyday life!
Remember your life is a sermon! Everyone is on a different level and people can be reached in different ways. A hug, a smile, a "good morning" or "hello", a word of encouragement is sometimes all that is needed.
Hebrews 5:13-14
(13) For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. (14) But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Be A Light With To Your Friends!
A quarrelsome person starts fights as easily as hot embers light charcoal or fire lights wood.
Proverbs 26:21 NLT
The bible covers so much ground when it comes to friendship. We all want a friend, but no one likes someone who always wants to fight and argue all of the time. Even if the person never argues with me, it can be draining to know that they're arguing with everyone else. Friends are good to air your frustrations to from time to time, but they're not God and truly can't fix our situations. I encourage you to be a light to and with your friends by praying for them, praying with them and being supportive.
Be A Light At Work!
Be A Light At Work!
God set these lights in the sky to light the earth, Genesis 1:17 NLT
You were not hired for your great qualifications alone. Some of us weren't qualified for our jobs at all. Some of us make more money and have more benefits than we ever imagined. Some of us are doing better than our parents ever did.
Yet we complain, murmur and some have become so comfortable that we don't do our best like we did when we were first hired. Some people become entitled, the 'they owe me' disease.
God blessed us with our jobs to be a light. We are to represent the love and person Jesus as a worker. Do we work in an excellent manner? Do we argue with the boss? Do we arrive on time? Are we constantly on break? Do we pray for the boss and our co-workers or do we destroy them with gossip?
I stand first in line! Let's Be A Light for Christ at work today. Will you join me?
From My Family to Yours... Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving Day!
We need to bring awareness to this epidemic that exists within our country and confront it head on. There is a serious mental illness problem that is certainly out of control.
We should be active in our communities talking to neighbors, speaking with teenagers and young children. Simply asking them if they are OK.
This problem will not go away on it’s own, it is our duty to be actively helping our country.
