GROWN WOMAN STATUS UP FOR GRABS!!
Now any one who is familiar with the “Love and Hip Hop” series knows this young lady affectionately as Chrissy. She is a very strong and outspoken individual who has a personality that either you love it or you hate it. Now I usually wouldn’t waste time discussing someone like Chrissy for reasons to be discussed as this evaluation proceeds but I decided to read this young lady because she has gained quite a following from ladies who revere her and her behavior. Lets examine shall we?
The reason why I feel that Miss Chrissy has such a strong following and women like her is because she is your typical “ride or die” chic. She is that girl that is gonna bring the duffle bag with the bail money at 3am from across the country to bail her man out, she will hide the cocaine in her vagina if need be to be smuggle across country boarders, she will go to to the highest mountain at the farthest point if her man told her it was nesseccary. She is definitely a ride or die chic no question. She is ready to fight for her man no matter what and while that is a great quality she has been in the “ride or die” chic category for a long while with a lot of HIDDEN drama attached to her ride or die qualities.
The tea on the street is that miss Chrissy was a HUGE groupie. Max B, among other rappers, have claimed that they have taken turns with her and her hooking up with Jim Jones was initially a business deal due to the fact that she was so knowledgeable about the rap game thanks to her “veteran groupie” status. In their 8 years of being together not only has she been his “ride or die” chic but she was at one time his punching bag. This is regarding an incident where Chrissy’s infidelity was found out by Jim Jones who decided to knock her teeth out. Check her grill, those are veneers. After that long and hard road Chrissy got a a TV show, new teeth, and according to TV show rumors and leaks commitment from Mr. Jim Jones. This commitment comes after giving him a 2 more year time extension from their already 8 year long “dating” history. How sweet *eye roll*
This young lady really need to get her self together. While I applaud her “down for my man” mentality and her honest in your face attitude she has a few more cons than pros. As a whole she comes off bitter, possessive, abrasive, unpolished, and just plain basic. I say this because:
1. Being an industry “groupie” without money or a stable career of your own except for hopping on the first penis with status you can clutch on to is in no way a grown woman tendency.
2. Letting a man knock your teeth out and then to fix the situation he pays to get them fixed in order to mend the relationship scars is a severe violation of being a grown woman. Letting a man put his hands on you is not an option no matter how much money he has.
3. From what I’ve observed Chrissy behavior shows explicit insecurities with her relationship and sometimes her status as a woman. To be so involved in your mans affairs and have really nothing serious of your own except for the drama you stir up with other ladies is ridiculous.
I really do applaud Miss Chrissy cause not many women would would ride hard for a man like Jim Jones and that is commendable. Also not many women are going to be as upfront and honest with their feelings and emotions as Chrissy. But even with all that said now with her “supposed” wedding proposal she has moved form “wifey” status to fiance’ and that is a good step. I hope that with this new found title and after all she has been through she cleans up her act, finds some real business of her own, and learns how to polish herself into a grown woman.
