Honestly, what's the big thing that ticks you off about Gruvia, Juvia, and/or the shippers? I always hate how they (shippers) call her stalking "cute".

I’m upset by the fact that they refuse to listen to people that tell them how bad it is. I dislike how they call her stalking cute, how they make their points by saying “but its canon!” That doesn’t make it right. I don’t think the writer of fairy tail likes the two of them together but if they do, they arent the one that decides whats right or wrong. The Gruvia shippers are tossing this absuive ship around for people whos minds arent fully developed yet to see and then they think thats how a relationship should be built. One thing I just noticed is that Edolas Gray acts the same as Earthland Juvia, and Edolas Gray is told off for being obsessive and clingy. Yet, when Earthland Juvia does it, she gets more attention and people just call Gray a tsundere. In my opinion, I feel like fans tend to side with the female's feelings rather than the male's. I know it's a little sexist, but it's always the girl gets the guy in those kinda situations. Have you ever noticed it?

absolutely. i have seen people who love edolas gruvia for exactly the same reasons they like normal gruvia, but in general i think the fact that the stalker is a girl plays a huge part in the normalization of it. would most people think a guy making a sponge that looks like his crush and washing his privates with it would be cute? would most people think a guy giving his crush rotten food is cute? i fucking hope not. and within the show itself there is definitely a lot of “juvia is such a nice young lady, gray’s so mean to turn her down like he does” even when juvia is being an obvious harasser.

all seem pretty accurate. and before anyone jumps on me for the “straight” thing, let me explain - it’s straight in that horrible, clingy, tropey, “it’s okay because they’re cute together” kind of way. like bella/edward or anastasia/christian, that kind of relationship straight people grow to adore without ever batting an eyelash. i’m not saying same gender or queer relationships can’t be abusive, just that themes like this are straight culture tbh

I feel like Gajeel x Juvia would've made a better couple. Idk, I really don't find Gruvia and Gajevy appealing (and don't get me started on how much hate I get for not shipping Gajevy), but Juvia probably was close to Gajeel before Gray and Levy came into the picture. im gray actually, and don’t call me a fag, even though it’s a word i can technically reclaim, i don’t like applying it to myself. natsu’s not perfect, but no one is, and i personally love him, so please keep natsu hate away from me, it pisses me off. nalu as most fans interpret it and as the canon presents it is kinda shit, yeah - better than gruvia, but still pretty ugh. that’s why im fond of lugratsu. nalu, graylu, and gratsu are are pretty okay ships, but when you mash em all together you get something that could actually work.

Tbh, it's kinda sad that I get hate for shipping Grayza. They always tell me "It's a BROTP, keep it like that!" Like, I'd rather have a couple who are comfortable with each other, rather than a person who isn't. What are your thoughts on Grayza?

my personal thoughts are that it’s a healthy ship but i’m not personally into it. i also see gray and erza as friends rather than love interests, but it’s DEFINITELY a healthier ship than gruvia, so keep on shipping it, my anonymous friend. erza and gray are both good people who’d be good for each other, imo.
