Before I can mess about with the bigger things I want to make sure other things are taken care of. While I play waiting game on some aspects, I can still make sure I focus on the other stuff. I pulled away from the bigger things but that doesn't mean it's cut off for good. I have to pull away from them until I can make sure I can keep it on stable ground. So until I can put up a few stable pillars, it needs to be on standby.

Bit of a Serious Talk

I've been having a stressful end of the week. A recent event has made something resurface and I won't lie, it did put me under a lot of stress as I remembered why I ended up forcing myself to go into a hiatus for DITO and focus on recovering my mental health I want to remind the folks that DITO is still going on, it's just slowed down as I wait for other things to fall into place. Until then, please be patient for a bit longer

There were two issues that I faced a few years back that caused me to shut down. I did have one other issue, however this is manageable and I am not here to focus on that one right now. No.. The two issues was over the fact that I've been getting hate messages and ended up leaving a circle of friends that left me quite devastated. I didn't make any public posts about either side, as far as I know. While I did air it out amongst a small number of people, wanting to know what I possibly did wrong, I'd never wanted to make callouts and tell people "Oh this person is horrible! unfollow them!"

I would get hate anon messages about Bird and Morogh. I just deleted and moved on. I knew that for the most part, if I answered them, I would invite more tenfold. It was better to wait it out until they get bored. Before people get ideas to try again. Any hate messages now would continue to be deleted and ignored. Though others I get I'll strive to answer soon. just be patient. To what the messages did entail. Being years ago.. it was roughly accusing me of fetishizing dark skin tones [Especially since Bird is dark skinned when I am simply Asian mix who is agoraphobic and totally not allergic to the sun.] and rather harsh criticisms over Morogh's skintone not being the "right" shade. [Which, given the few pictures I posted of him. It's supposed to be unnatural. It's supposed to make you think that something right when it comes to him]

There was more, but those two were the common themes Overall, I've been tired. Sure, the hate messages suck, but I could easily work through that. But seeing what DITO was supposed to be, a love letter towards our favorite murder men. Now I am stuck throwing my easter egg portion (which would be Morogh transforming into those fellas) into a little basket and work out how I could possibly go through with what I wanted in the first place.

But not just that. Just before I decided to go quiet, I've made the choice to put the voice portion of the project on pause. I should have at least said something, but chosen to suffer and fade away than to do anything with what was bothering me. Now that I am sorting through loose ends and looking through what I can do for the future (Like where people could get DITO without needing to cut content or the such) DITO will be voiceless. None of the current VA's have done me any wrong and I wish the best for them. If there is to be any change for the future, I'll be sure to let everyone know Apologies for the long read.

Bird Design

Bird's redesign sketch. What'chu think? He's missing his ponytail, but I wanted to show I am alive. I've wanted a redesign of Bird for so long, but with everything going on, it's been rather difficult to really keep up with everything. But this will be finished into a cute little floating pngtuber thing while I stream. Though I wanted to finish my DITO pinups on stream, I might look for a different way to achieve that as it could be a bit more... teasy

Morogh update?

Just a few design changes that I wanted to make for a while now. I think I'll go more in depth into his design later once I have a moment. He still has nipple piercings, still made out of silver. Likewise I simplified his earrings a bit. Once this image is more complete, I'll release a lil' speedpainting vid of it. I miss doing that

I don't recall the last time I tried to make any activity here, ngl.. I ended up in a place where I shut down emotionally to everything and tried to distract myself with this and that. I won't get into irl stuff, the struggle is... not kind, to say the least. I don't want to get into it.

I'm wondering how Morogh would feel if Dewdrop was a demis*xual and he found out what it was after Dewdrop had already built a strong enough bond with him to be attracted to him in that way

Morogh would be confused at first!

It can be speculated that Morogh is Demi, himself, and uses one's lust towards him as a means to get closer to his prey. And. As a fun reminder: All of Morogh's personal drinks are made with his own tears. Which in turn causes the recipient highly likely to fall in love with him.

However, considering that Dewdrop is demi, those drinks could simply just make them enamored just enough for them to just feel comfortable enough to trust him. Providing they don't ask for more of those special drinks.

Luckily, Morogh isn't the type to push himself onto Dewdrop for any reason unless they say they want anything. He'll show them respect and make sure they are comfortable even if they are tripping out/drunk.

Unless Dewdrop is planned to be a meal, he will play with them. Hunt them down, and eat them. He is a hungry fella, after all

Updates, Tiers, and Snapshots

Hello, Stardusts.

It has taken me a while to state this out and have been pacing back and forth when it comes to how to word things.

Ever fighting my laptop, DITO is ready to go outside of a few touchups. I cannot release any of it or do more for it until I get my laptop upgrade. Likewise, I cannot do much of anything as my laptop is currently fighting me on everything. It's hectic and hell for me, but I am still doing what I can when it lets me.

I am currently working on a dual 3 tier level giveaways where I will give back to two communities at once.

For the FFXIV community, I will offer a free TC and sticker of Wuk Lamat, Erenville, then Koana (Latter two can be interchanged once Lamatry'i is finished and put to vote). For my own DITO community, Pinups of Alec, Morogh, then Sidney will be offered, along with the older pinup of Morogh that I have extras of.

Both giveaways will also offer free art. This is something to help tide over the wait. Keep in mind that depending on what is going on in the background (printer likes to cause issues right now), physical prizes might take some time to be sent. News on current conditions will be announced when the tier is reached.

The three tiers are intended to help give myself a new laptop and improving my workspace. The tiers might come by faster once one could expect~

To help me reach my goals, one could commission me through the 'Quest to 100' even if they are not ffxiv based. Prices will not be this cheap once I achieve one or all of my goals as I am using this to experiment how to draw faces and to test art techniques as I go

Yandere LI's can be requested for free by anyone. Keep in mind that they must be from a existing project that has been around for more than a month, I know where they are from, and the creator is +18. If one wants to support me while having me draw the Yans, there is a $10 discount.

Lastly, For those excited to play the DITO Demo. As a bit of a countdown, I'll be launching four snapshots. First will be intro to the other three. I will launch each one within each tier. A small vote has decided on what the focus will be around (as well as what the pinup lineup would be)

The Demo is ready to go! However, I can't export it. My laptop won't let me. So I am waiting until I get my upgrade.

However. I'll be making some sketches of our fellow yans. I'm down for suggestions. I have noticed that tumblr hates my guts as it takes forever to post anything, but I won't let that stop me. If I can't post here, you'll more than likely see it on twitter and patreon (which will be adjusted in the future)

A few things

First off, I am sorry for being rather silent on things. It feels like I am balancing so many spinning plates and there is no end to it. So I've just been silently shutting down and working on private tasks. I've been fighting to keep positive all year long and as of last monday. I broke.

DITO Demo is basically finished, I had to cut back on a few of my plans but thats okay. I can always refine it later. Thing is... I can't release it. At least.. not yet. Easiest way to explain it, my laptop hates my guts and it's fighting me on everything

No seriously. And it's not when it comes to DITO. It's when I draw, it's when i browse online, it's even when I try to render any of my videos (it would expand the wait time to 10 hours or stay at a percentage without change). Oh and if that doesn't put a strain on things, printing and cutting out my stickers is being a total bitch in general as it keeps making me reset everything on my printer and cutter like my system doesn't recognize it anymore

I'd be lucky if I could play my games without issues on my down time.

But.. I have everything saved up to a external drive. Once I get my upgrade I'll release the demo after letting a few play testers mess with it.

I'm currently pushing through to my path on getting my upgrade, despite fighting my laptop while it's on it's last legs. I'm not going to ask people here to help me out. I will be fixing this issue, and once everything is settled and released. We will celebrate with something I've been planning since spring
