working at a comic shop (warehouse style) but knowing nothing about comics is like being the frog in the boiling pot. because yeah the superhero series are crazy and long but oh! so many small comic series with like 4-10 issues with hella awesome art and incredible concepts!! and oh wait maybe the superhero series aren't that hard to approach after all, I mean the absolute series is a perfect intro point! so read those too! and look holy shit DC compact trades are only $10, BEFORE staff discount, so you can even read the old arcs in a handy lil package, plus some classic graphic novels! all the sudden you're buying new issues every week, all the sudden you care about cover artists, all the sudden you're that chick with too many pancakes.
AND you're spending your own paycheck at your job. I hate it here. (I love it here) I'll never leave 😂
