Register for GRZF 2016!

The Grand Rapids Zine Fest is an annual zine festival which was first held on August 24th 2013.  The event supports and celebrates self-publishing culture in West Michigan by holding a free day of exhibitors selling their zines, workshops, and more in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.  The next GRZF will take place at 12-6 pm Saturday, July 16th, 2016 at The Fed Galleries (same venue as last year). This Saturday!! We’ll be there with issues of our newest zine, Rape Culture and Sexual Assault, button packs and lots of other fun stuff.

REGISTRATION FOR GRZF 2015 IS LIVE!!!

We are very excited to be a part of a huge lineup of amazing events going on at  The Fed Galleries at KCAD this summer.  GRZF will take place on the last day of The DAAC @ The Fed from 12-6pm (July 25th 2015).  See more information about The DAAC's event in the comment below this post.

Same deal as last year: $8 for a half table, $15 for a full table (distros only)

my last day in Grand Rapids…I have a coffee date with a new friend, a podcast interview with Marlee of Have Company, and my papermaking workshop! if you are in the GR area, please come by! I have met so many amazing folks… I’m reluctant to return to Brooklyn, but at least I’ll be returning with eons of inspiration and motivation.

Yesterday I tabled at Grand Rapids Zine Fest, which was my first experience tabling at a zine fest outside of Chicago. I had a lot of fun and met a lot of great people, which has me excited to check out other Midwestern zine fests!

Thanks again to all of the exhibitors, volunteers, and visitors who were able to come out yesterday! We’ve still got some posters and shirts leftover, so if you’d like to grab one (10 for shirts and 1-10 donation for posters) you can either send us an email at [email protected] and we can send them to you, or you can pick them up from Have Company on Division Ave.  Also, a huge thank you to the DAAC for helping us pay off the rest of the rental fee.

Grand Rapids Zine Fest

Only 7 hours to go til I can go home to fold, stamp and staple zines, so jittery with anticipation, ahhhhh! Can’t wait to see yoursecretary, stuff my face at Cult Pizza and Bartertown, and check out some zines!

Hope to see you Michiganders tomorrow (8/23) from 12-6 at the West Michigan Center for Arts and Technology.

I’ll be tabling under Rip It Up and am planning on bringing Rip It Up & Start Again Vol 2, Second City Vegan cook zine, Burning Fight photo book and an assortment of postcards.
