Virgil says the most ominous things when he’s sleepy. Someone will ask him something completely innocuous like “Have you seen my favorite shirt?” and he’ll stare at them completely deadpan and go “No, but I will soon” and then he Will Not elaborate. Later, when he’s properly awake, he’ll deny that anything ever happened.

Virgil takes a lot of naps (some on purpose and some by accident), but the others are sometimes rather hesitant to get close to him if they find him lying around the mindscape apparently asleep, because sometimes he’s only pretending in order to jump up and scare them.

They aren’t aware that sometimes when he scares them he actually was asleep but they accidentally woke him up and he decided to mess with them.
