Last Stand of the High King by Manuel Castaùón
@musings-of-theoldworld
Tyrion traveled to Ghyran on his own, a rare thing for the blind god to travel on his own without his brother outside of Hysh. Still this request from Alarielle was of the highest importance for him to arrive quickly. Soon heâd arrive to the goddessâ court. He saw the many nature spirits, the Sylvaneth were in bloom. All of nature seemed as though it was in spring time due to his fellow godâs current aspect. He bowed to her. âI have answered your summons Your highness.â
The Spring-time aspect of Allarielle sat atop a throne of flowers, waiting for Tyrion.
'I'm glad you have come so swiftly Tyrion.' Allarielle stood up to embrace her old companion. The Sylvaneth suddenly retreated from the room.
'I have been thinking. There are far too few Aelves in the realms. Would you be willing to help me... remedy that?'
âYes of course but that is what Malekith and my brother have been working tirelessly to achieve. Aelf souls are coming into the world as fast as we can manage.â He of course did not understand her meaning
Allarielle laughed in a sing song manner. âOh my dear Tyrion, itâs spring time and I have need for elves. Iâm in my fertility aspect as we speak.â She smirked, âIâm thinking we work together to make more Aelven souls right here, right now.â
âJust you and me.â She added softly.
He nods âah i see... now that i can be of assistance.â He strode forth. He stepped up to her throne and smiled at her. âThis forest smells wonderful my dear. You were always so direct my love.â
'I certainly hope so, my love.' Allarielle stepped forward and gingerly ran a hand across Tyrion's arm.
'It's all to get you in the right mood as well.' Allarielle laughed. 'Can you feel the effects yet?'
âI can... will you help me with my clothes? I donât need them anymore.â He leaned over without touching her and kissed her lips
Allarielle giggled with glee and began to help Tyrian undress. 'No you certainly don't.' She beamed. 'Besides, no one can see us here. It's just you, and me.'
he caressed her face as she undressed him, stepping forward out of his clothes and kissing her. âSo you are all mine then?â He smiled and ran his fingers over her body to feel what she was wearing

guardianofhyshâ:Â
âYes, lets head back.â He helps her up again onto his mount and held her tightly against him as she flew
â˝ â âž Â // â
She leant back into his embrace throughout the flight, he could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she knew there wouldnât be much else to distract or separate them as soon as they returned to Tor Yvresse.Â
As they flew back he kissed her neck. Just one little peck for her to burn up over. Once they landed he had an announcement for the guards. âThis woman is no longer any form of prisoner. She is a guest. She shall be treated as such.â It was a shock but no one could deny the prince. After that he walked her to his chambers. For what he was not sure but he knew it would be intimate
guardianofhyshâ:
He nods slowly and holds onto her close. He squeezes her like she was a dear friend and then kissed her lips. To have a child. What a magical moment that was. He wanted that for them, all of them.
â˝ â âž Â // â
She would not lie, it was hard to find embracing his armour comfortable. But none the less she returned his embrace. One hand still occupied by the Relic, but the other gripped him tight. âShall we return?â She muttered after several moments passed.Â
âYes, lets head back.â He helps her up again onto his mount and held her tightly against him as she flew
guardianofhyshâ:
Tears rolled down his face and he stumbled. Such a vision could not be an illusion, that balcony looked out from his bedroom which she had never seen. He stumbled backwards feeling air leave his lungs. âIs that what is to be? Or what may be?â
â˝ â âž Â // â
She nodded sharply, catching him somewhat knowing that it could be jarring to experience a vision for the first time. âOne of many possible futures, but its the one the Morai-Heg showed me and its one⌠I would like to try for. If youâll have me.â
He nods slowly and holds onto her close. He squeezes her like she was a dear friend and then kissed her lips. To have a child. What a magical moment that was. He wanted that for them, all of them.
guardianofhyshâ:
âDo it, please.â He shut his eyes enjoying even this lightest of touch from her
â˝ â âž Â // â
With his permission she held his face in her hand and closed her eyes. She called on her magic to swim through them both and very soon their eyes opened not on the same view but within her vision.Â
It was a hot summers day that was drawing to an end judging by the amber rays of light that pierced through the room. Silhouetted by the setting sun Ysbryd stood within the boundary our to a Balcony, in her arms what appeared to be a newborn she was cooing off to sleep. She was soon interrupted by Eltharion who stepped in to join her, the male elf pressing a kiss on the brow of mother and child alike.Â
And as quickly as the vision came, it was gone once more.Â
Tears rolled down his face and he stumbled. Such a vision could not be an illusion, that balcony looked out from his bedroom which she had never seen. He stumbled backwards feeling air leave his lungs. âIs that what is to be? Or what may be?â
guardianofhyshâ:
âWell I suppose Iâm a bit saddened that you have the advantage of looking to see that my love is the best option for you. It makes you seem as though Iâm the one being used.â He kisses her palm and holds her. âHow do I know you will not break my trust? I cannot look to the future.â
â˝ â âž Â // â
Her brow furrowed and she knew his words were right. There were still in the ring of power - this she took note of. âI can try show you? what I saw that is.â She let go of his hand to brush the side of his face with a finger. âI donât see why I cannot try and share my vision⌠its likely to be more potent here.âÂ
âDo it, please.â He shut his eyes enjoying even this lightest of touch from her
guardianofhyshâ:
âIâm taking a huge risk with you. I donât normally feel things for people the way i do with you. Itâs scary. Itâs so much safer to make myself an island. So I know a little bit of what you mean.â They break into the sunlight and stormwing is soaking up the rays laying in the grass. âSo what did you do? Look into the future to see if i was good for you?â
â˝ â âž Â // â
She nodded âA glimpse of that yes. But I say glimpse because well⌠I only needed to see a bit of it and I needed to compare my other options.â Her thumb ran along his hand as her eyes locked onto his âI didnât want everything to be spoiled but I needed to put to rest my doubt. That this is anything other than you just⌠wanting to use me.âÂ
âWell I suppose Iâm a bit saddened that you have the advantage of looking to see that my love is the best option for you. It makes you seem as though Iâm the one being used.â He kisses her palm and holds her. âHow do I know you will not break my trust? I cannot look to the future.â
guardianofhyshâ:
He kisses her cheek. âThank you.â He hugs her before taking her back the way the came. As they walk he turns back âyou used the orb. What did you see?â
â˝ â âž Â // â
She paused for a moment before turning her gaze to him âI want to be honest with you. Because if this is going to work honesty is the best foundation.â She held tightly to his hand. âI⌠donât trust people easily⌠and Iâve never had much of a example of love to live by. We have time to get into the nitty gritty of the hows and whys but.. Opening my heart up to someone scares me. I just wanted to know if I was making the right choiceâŚâÂ

guardianofhyshâ:
He holds her wrist gently and then kisses her hand. âNo. You are free. You are my guest. No need to manacle you or bar your windows.â He runs his fingers through her dark hair.
â˝ â âž Â // â
She pulled her hands back from having them extended, then leaned into his touch, one hand holding the relic the other hand reaching up to hold his hand within her hair. She moved her head to kiss his wrist before turning her gaze to him once more. âIâd like to stay with you.âÂ
He kisses her cheek. âThank you.â He hugs her before taking her back the way the came. As they walk he turns back âyou used the orb. What did you see?â
guardianofhyshâ:
He smiled and nodded along as she finds it. âYour mistress must truly be looking down on you. What a blessing.â He was happy for her and hoped that she was honest about everything. He was taking a huge risk with her which he almost never did
â˝ â âž Â // â
She stood up and showed him the relic, its âglassâ made of a facetted enchanted crystal encased in a silver ring structure decorated with ravens with sapphire eyes. She took the relic back and gazed in to it for a moment, a flash signifying that she used it. When she saw what she was reading into she looked back towards Eltharion.Â
âYes⌠this is the itemâ she smiled. âThe genuine piece.â She imaged that even if someone could ransack this place given how well it was hidden, they would probably think of the relic as nothing more than a fancy paper weight as it only held power in her hands.Â
âLets⌠go back shall we? will you need to manacle me again?â She muttered holding out her hands.Â
He holds her wrist gently and then kisses her hand. âNo. You are free. You are my guest. No need to manacle you or bar your windows.â He runs his fingers through her dark hair.
guardianofhyshâ:
He smiles and nods along. âWell your story is an inspiring one. Many would simply daydream about leaving home where as you are actually doing it. Will your family be upset when you return? Or did you leave on good terms?â
âľâ´âľ â
âOh we left on good terms, But I do believe Mother is still under the incorrect assumption that this is but an opportunity for me to find a learned husband⌠I donât want a scholarly husband I want to be the scholar.â She rolled her eyes. âI am sorry⌠I am doing a lot of complaining about and arguing with someone who is across the sea from me⌠What of your family?âÂ
âOh well they gave me much freedom. I found scholarship to be more enjoyable than the peacocking of the pheonix court. My father wanted my brother and I to be squires but he was supportive when I chose a prestigious life of the sword masters. I do fear that my brother then defaulted to following my fatherâs wishes because I didnât. He seemed to just do whatever he was told without considering his own desires. I donât really consider this story to be particularly interesting.â His ears flick slightly as he blushes.
guardianofhyshâ:
âI agree although there is the fact that if itâs here it will likely remain here until weâve finished this.â He kisses her cheek and walks with her holding onto her hand
â˝ â âž Â // â
She nodded as her fingers intertwined with his own tightly âYes but its because of this that I would like to get any distraction out of the way.â She purred
She lead him to what appeared to be an Altar with a relic case and upon the approach of the case had to let go of him to inspect it. She opened it to reveal a cushioned lined casing that housed the crystaline mirrored scry glass. âIts here!â She sounded ecstatic âGods above be praised its really here!âÂ
He smiled and nodded along as she finds it. âYour mistress must truly be looking down on you. What a blessing.â He was happy for her and hoped that she was honest about everything. He was taking a huge risk with her which he almost never did
guardianofhyshâ:
He pulled his guantlets off to better feel her. His hands squeezed and touched her warmth. He so desperately wanted to push her up against the wall or get on top of her but he knew that would be too much too fast. Instead he would let her find her own comforts in his embrace.
â˝ â âž Â // â
When she finally pulled herself away from his Kiss she took a moment to catch her breath. Her eyes gazed up to regard his face, a gentle hand caressing his jawline. âWe have an artefact to find⌠but Iâd like to pick this up later.â she purred before pecking him on the nose.Â
âI agree although there is the fact that if itâs here it will likely remain here until weâve finished this.â He kisses her cheek and walks with her holding onto her hand
guardianofhyshâ:
He rolled his tongue around with hers dancing along as his face burned and his hands explored her body. It was easy to learn the curves of her body underneath her dress
â˝ â âž Â // â
Her being was aflame to his touch, cheeks red and smouldering as she prolonged their kiss. It was as if she needed him more than air itself. She longed for more of him, more of his warmth, softness, each hard edge and line separated off from her by the hard shell of his armour.Â
He pulled his guantlets off to better feel her. His hands squeezed and touched her warmth. He so desperately wanted to push her up against the wall or get on top of her but he knew that would be too much too fast. Instead he would let her find her own comforts in his embrace.
guardianofhyshâ:
He smiled, a light dusting of red on his cheeks and ears. He walked her down the street with a smile. âWell I have studied my skills as a Swordmaster of Hoath for many years. I intended to continue my studies and perhaps one day become a full Loremaster. However I had realized that I had only seen very little of Ulthuan and indeed the world. There is so much life I have to live and experiences before i dedicate my life to an existence of constant study. I traveled through Ulthuan for a time then came here to understand this strange place. Apparently my skills are in high demand on this continent but Hoath would be displeased if I squandered my knowledge on simple blood money. I come seeking knowledge and experience only a life lived could offer. I have yet to even see combat in all my time studying its many forms.â He looks to her. âAnd what of yourself? Why have you come here?â
âľâ´âľ â
She listened to him carefully as he exalted unto her his very purpose in what seemed to be a sort of coming of age tour for the elf, something she not only respected but could greatly relate to.
When the time came for him to ask of her purpose she moved a strand of hair from her face and gave a half smirk âI can whole heartedly say that I am in a rather similar position⌠though it is more so not that I wish to discover things before I am to dedicate myself to a life of knowledge but that I am seeking both at the same time in escape of the life that my family originally had set out for me.â She rolled her eyes upon reciting the last part âMy family would have me be but another pretty little noble woman sold off in marriage to some lordly suitor⌠I want more than that. I have talent, a drive.. I want to use my magic, understand it, hone it and prove that I am more than just a pretty little noble woman with pretty little aspirations.âÂ
He smiles and nods along. âWell your story is an inspiring one. Many would simply daydream about leaving home where as you are actually doing it. Will your family be upset when you return? Or did you leave on good terms?â
