There is like. A lot of weird kinks that auto sort you into extreme. Pregnancy is another one. It really doesn't make sense. Kinks shouldn't auto sort you into any category imho. It's like fly hunting with a bazooka

honestly, its one thing if it’s like meant to be a kink, but if it’s just a... thing? if it’s being pregnant but in normal way (rather than a sexy way, ofc) then it’s. Not really extreme-worthy?

if its something i can see in a movie targeted for kids or at least young adults, then i dont see why just having it means its lumped in with much HEAVIER and much more adult themes. its a little frustrating, ngl.

It is less for the pregnancy theme and more for it is a triggering concept for a notable amount of our users, and thus is classified as  “triggering content” which defaults to NSFWE. NSFWE is not exclusively used for kinks and it should be stated as so as the userbase has an extreme tendency to only see things sexually.

tbh i have no idea why aki wants to utilize cherubplay/rpbin's front page on mxrp anyway?? im pretty sure the front page was like, the lesser used function once the directory came out on cherubplay, which is why cherp never had it, and as someone who primarily uses mxrp over cherp i kinda doubt mxrp users would be more likely to use it

Yea, I mean. Front Page was nice... When we didn't have Directory. Finding things on the front page was nightmareish at times.

But who knows, maybe they will? I have a hard time figuring out why a more... Chat-style-based site would benefit from this.

I recall when we had the front page it was primarily the same 5-6 users posting all their prompts at once. Granted MXrp has a different (granted heavily overlapping) user base.

what i genuinely wouldn't do to get categories for pairings (like M/F, F/F, M/M, etc.) i don't have any interest in F/F and honestly never will--and honestly, i'd rather have one thing to blacklist than having to continuing blocking prompt by prompt

We’ve considered it, however shot it down for the sake of not making the site checkbox hell or menu hell as there are SO many pairings. Yes there’s M/F and F/F but then when we questioned users we were told they’d prefer AFAB/AMAB, TM/TF and the like. For sake of simplicity we decided against it as this keeps the most people happy.

You know it's a bad feeling that putting time and labour into writing/doing art is seen as less valuable than coding/running a website. Even though writing and doing art is just as valuable and takes just as much time as writing and moderation. To the point that artists and writers that have their works posted on the site by third parties or even themselves aren't allowed to take credit.

But hey people undervaluing the arts and upholding techy and STEM fields is so prevalent of course it's going to bleed over into hobbies.

It’s less of being undervalued as it sucks for us as well. I have at least two of my fics linked on site and they will never know it’s me because as much as I would love to connect and gush about it, it’s just too big of a risk. I can promise you the fic I’ve had running since 2013 I’ve put WAY more time into than this site.

Except if I connect and go ‘that’s me!’ And then they message me off site with the platform with something gross (as was a problem in the past, not with me but another user) the whole situation of authorities coming to the site and us having to take it down for an investigation comes all over again.

Due to the treatment from the parp userbase he essentially has stepped down to being just our server host. We still love him and talk to him often, however he has determined it’s best for him to step back.

So.. I want to make a new account but I got banned. There's nothing in the rules that specifically SAYS making a new account is ban evasion, but idk.. The mods already don't like me, so it's not like if I have a problem I can actually go to them for anything.. Idk what to do and as much as I don't like cherp, there's no other site I can really use to regularly find good rp...

If you are banned, and you make a new account BECAUSE you were banned, it is definitely ban evasion. Just so there is no confusion here. All making a new account will do is when we catch you, we will expand the IP ban radius. Which will continue to expand each time we catch you when the system flags us.
