Happy Birthday to Sufjan Stevens, born July 1st 1975!
It's been a little while since we've gotten a Sufjan tour but here's one of the more recent times he's made a live concert appearance, as a guest at a Rufus Wainwright show in December 2018.

Sufjan Stevens shared two new versions of "Fourth of July" today and they'll be released on vinyl in December.
These two latest versions were recently found on old harddrives. The refrain of the song, “We’re all gonna die,” invokes a meditation on human mortality and fragility, even as it acts as an anchor of stoic hope. Its solemnity invites listeners to feel comfort, connection — even joy — wrought from great pain and loss.
The song has recently had a resurgence with listeners — which may speak to a deep national grief and sense of loss.
I’ve officially forgiven Dublin Bus for all the times they were late or never showed up cos the pride Bus they done with proud dads was the most wholesome thing i’ve ever seen in my life & i still can’t watch it without tearing up omfg
i thought i could keep it together but i lost it at “let’s go to pride, son”
I too lost it at that part
yeah.
Yeah.
Def yeah.
Literally what happened two nights ago.

Why are you booing? She's right!
Update: turns out the "berating" was apart of the previously agreed upon lesson plan revolving around role playing debate skills (he had 7 uninterrupted minutes of speech, this was in the question and answer portion, most college students could tell you is normal) that the student knew about before hand.
Ellis then took this completely out of context clip and ran to Conservative Grievance Circlejerk Media (Daily Caller, NY Post, Daily Mail, ect) to slander this professor to the point that she and her coworkers are now receiving death threats from unhinged reactionaries.
Also Ellis is known for making white supremacist gestures and harassing racial and sexual minority students on campus
In conclusion, if you sided with this kid over what was (if you watched the video) a perfectly normal debate exchange with a professor, then you might have some self-examination to take part in.
