Ding dong. "Another sales person interrupting my work." I thought. I had planned to give him a line saying - I don't have time for whatever you are selling, but when I opened the door a man was waving his arms and hands and shoving his card to me. As I read it my irritation at being interrupted vanished. I he was a deaf artist and he was selling his pieces. I'd love to say I bought an artwork but I didn't. Or that I even looked at his work but I didn't. I said no too fast, my brain on full speed. When my heart and spirit caught up, I felt humbled. I am reminded of the beginning of a prayer - Disturb us O Lord.
