How to get around Cardiff? BY FLYING! Obviously! GUL!

FIRSTLY, FREE BUS NO.11(YOUR LEGS!!!!!)
Cardiff is no a really big city Okay? Walk around in a sunny day like today, and it would be fantastic!
Secondly, take the real bus!
Cardiff Bus runs an extensive system throughout Cardiff and the area. Most routes follow an anti-clockwise route around the city-centre. A single ticket within the city (including Penarth) is £1.80 adult, and £1.30 child. A return ticket which allows a day's unlimited travel costs £3.60 adult and £2.40 child. They have recently raised the price!!!
For travel between Cardiff and Barry (including Cardiff Airport), a single ticket is £2.50 adult, and £1.70 child. A return ticket which allows a day's unlimited travel costs £4.90 adult and £3.40 child. Tickets are bought from the driver. You must have the exact monies as the drivers cannot give change. And it will be cheaper if you buy tickets with the Iff mobile app.
To get between Cardiff city centre and Cardiff Bay, just hop on the BayCar or 'Bendy Bus' (no.6). This service runs 7 days a week, every 10 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes during the evening and weekends. The route runs anti-clockwise around Cardiff city centre and on down to the Bay where it stops outside the Doctor Who Experience and Wales Millennium Centre.

Third, TRAIN
Regular trains run from Cardiff’s Queen Street station to Cardiff Bay (Monday - Saturday) as well as city stops including Cathays, Ninian Park and Llandaff. Trains from Cardiff central station link to towns in the Valleys and Vale of Glamorgan as well as high speed intercity links to London and cities in the rest of the UK. Bike Hire
Cardiff is a great city to negotiate by bike and is one of the quickest ways to get around. The city's easy gradients and large green parks make it ideal for cyclists. The leafy Taff Trail cycle path runs North to South along the banks of the river Taff, linking the Brecon Beacons, Castle Coch, the City centre and Cardiff Bay.
Pedal Power offer a cycle hire service open to the public 7 days a week, where you can hire a wide range of cycles. Offering gents' and ladies' bikes, kid's bikes of all sizes, as well as a range of baby seats, buggies and tag-along bikes. For those looking for something a bit different there is go carts, tandems, side by side bikes, trikes and pedal cars which can take up to six people. Pedal Power also provides an extensive range of specially adapted trikes and bikes designed for children and adults with disabilities.
Cardiff Cycle Tours provide standard bike hire for half a day and one day slots but more flexible hire is available, so if you need less time to explore, they’ll see what they can do. The bikes on hire are the fantastic Pashley Bikes, made in Britain, which guarantee a comfortable and leisurely ride. No sweat, just pure enjoyment and relaxation. All bikes are available from the BHAC (Bute History and Art Centre) in Bute Street, Cardiff Bay, right close to the Taff Trail and the Bay Trail. Cardiff Cycle Tours also provide cycle maps and provide route plans if needed.
Water taxis and boat trips
Visitors who wish to travel to/from the city centre to Cardiff Bay, have the option of travelling by the commuter service operated by Cardiff Boat Tours. The fully equipped, purpose built covered vessel, Princess Katharine, offers a regular river service between Cardiff Bay and the City Centre has a capacity for 90 passengers.
Car parking
Numerous pay and display and multi-storey car parks are available in the city centre. An easier and stress-free way of getting to the centre is using one of Cardiff's Park & Ride services. For more information, click here.
