More Animal Names

More Names for Object Animals, Their Homes, and Cowplants

I was tired of having most of my chicks want the name Salsa, so I went looking for a mod for that. I found one, but it's very outdated. So I made one myself. This will give you a wider variety of preset names for Goats, Sheep, Chickens and coops, Cows and Llamas and sheds, Rabbits and stumps, Bird Trees, and Cowplants, including modded ones if they use the same tuning.

This is an override mod. You can only have one mod that overrides each of the files I changed. But I don't know of any mods that override the same files. My changes can be seen here.

Any of the names can appear randomly whenever you go to rename one of those things. Some are serious, some are funny, some are terrible puns.

I'm open to suggestions for more, but there's no guarantee that I'll take the suggestions. I'm unlikely to take suggestions for names based on people who are alive or who were alive within the last couple of decades, for food that the animals may get turned into (or restaurants), or for euphemisms (or not euphemisms) for NSFW things or poop (there are a lot of poop names for chickens). Terrible puns are welcome though. Most importantly, I have to like the names, since I made this for myself first and foremost.

Base game compatible, but if you don't have Horse Ranch or Cottage Living, all you'll get is names for Cowplants. It does NOT affect the names of cats, dogs, or horses.

I will not be separating it into different versions.

REQUIRES Lot 51's Core Library Version 1.30 or higher.

Updates:

April 13, 2025: Changed to an injection method, to make it more stable and more patch safe, and also more compatible with other mods. Now requires Lot 51's Core Library Version 1.30, which was updated today. It will not work with an older version (or no Core Library at all). A few more names were added too.

Sept 12, 2025: Updated to not have the name Fuzzy Wuzzy shared a key with a setting in MCCC, resulting in this.

First, download the toaster from my post then download ATS4 toaster mod and the recipes you want from here. Put the files in less than TWO folders deep into your Mod Folder!! If you do not install the mod, you can use the toaster as a deco. There are also deco versions available for other two objects which require expansion packs. What you should know

✧ For rice cooker to be functional, first, download the functional rice cooker file from this post then download konansock rice cooker mod here. Put them directly into your mods folder. You can use this functional rice cooker and deco rice cooker from my Vanilla Kitchen set in the game at the same time. I’d like to thank @konansock for letting me use the rice cooker mod🌷

✧ I removed the car decor on the shelf in Woodenland set and now it functions as a bookcase.

✧ The length of the right version of the heart curtain is slightly different from the left version. No matter how hard I tried to fix it, it didn’t work. You can adjust it by pressing the alt key while in build mode so that it is on the same level. The long version does not have such a problem.

Hello all!! Yes, I know that everyone is playing with infants right now and probably doesn’t want to see anything else, but I still want to share what I created with you. Now this is done, I’m going to update all my mods/cc so I can play the game and eventually do small cc requests. I haven’t even played with infants yet :S I want to make cc for them and the babies so badly, maybe this can be the next concept. What you should know

Moon Sofa acts like a loveseat which means two people can sit on it, not three. Because of this, there might be some clipping problems between the ends of the moon shape and sims/pets.

Star Table is a small dinner table, but because of its star shape, the chairs go inside the table and the placement of sims looks bad in most cases. I recommend you use it purely as decoration.

Standalone Benches & PC Without Clutter

Just stopped by to drop these beauties✨I separated the chairs from the picnic table, they now function as benches, also removed decorative items from Tablet PC and added slots so you can place your own objects on it.
