Protection from the Devil 

Allah’s blessings on the reader of Surah Al Baqarah.

On the Day of Judgment, it will fight for the forgiveness of its reader.

Surah Al-Baqarah does protect from the devil and his companions.

Protection from the witchcraft

If a person recites Surah Al-Baqarah daily, he can protect himself from witchcraft. No one can create a hurdle in his life and his life runs smoothly. No doubt witchcraft does work because our holy Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa Sallam) had faced Sahar( jaadoo).

The Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa Sallam) said that if a person recites the Surah Al-Baqarah then none can harm. This Surah gives protection like an iron sheet against Sahar (jadoo ). 

The Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa Sallam) said about Benefits of Surah Al-Baqarah. “ Reciting Surah AL-Baqarah, to take recourse to it is a blessing and to give it up is a cause of grief, and the magicians cannot confront it.”

Allah’s blessings on the Reader of Surah Al-Baqarah

The Holy Quran is a blessing of God Almighty, but if a person recites Surah Al-Baqarah daily then he receives intercession from God Almighty. Because Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) said in Surah Al-Baqarah:

“So whenever guidance comes to you from me, then whoever follows my guidance, then there will neither be any fear on them nor will they grieve” (The NOBLE QURAN: 2:38)

According to this Ayah, When (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) himself says that if you follow me then you do not need to grieve.

On the Day of Judgment, It will fight for the Absolution of the Reader

If a person recites Surah AL Baqarah, on doomsday, it will defend his/her reader, beseeching Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) forgiveness. It will prove beneficial in a time when no one can be safe. 

Our Holy Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa Sallam) said that:

“Recite the two bright ones, Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah A-e-‘Imran, for on the day of resurrection they will be as two clouds or two (2) shades, or two (2) flock birds in ranks, pleading for those who recite them“.

Surah Al-Baqarah does protect from the devil and his companion

When a person recites Surah Al-Baqarah, an evil spirit cannot harm you.

“Do not turn your houses into graves. Verily Shaitan does not enter the house where Surah Al-Baqarah is recited”.

An angle comes as a guard if a person recites Aayahs of Surah Al-Baqarah before sleeping

At the time of going to bed, if the last two (2) Aayahs of Surah Al-Baqarah are recited then Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) send an angel who guards the reciter. 

The Holy Prophet (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa Sallam) said that “Whoever recites the last two (2) verses of Surah Al-Baqarah any night that will suffice him”. (Bukhari).

Allah blesses the person with wealth and honor who recites Surah Yaseen daily. Before going on a journey, if you recite Surah Yaseen, you remain under the special protection of Allah Almighty. Thus, Surah Yaseen reading benefits are many.

The following are proven from the Sunnah:

» Shaytaan flees from the home in which Surah Baqarah is recited.

» Whoever memorizes the last 10 verses of Surah Kahaf, he will remain secured from Dajjal.

» Whoever goes to visit the graves of one or both of his parents every Friday, and then recites Surah Yaseen next to them , Allah will grant him forgiveness.

» The one who recites Surah Al-Waaqi’ah daily would never suffer from starvation.

» The one who recites Surah Al-Mulk every night would be protected from the punishment of the grave.

» Surah Az-Zilzaal is equivalent to a quarter of the Quran.

» Surah Al-Kafiroon is equivalent to a quarter of the Quran.

» Surah Al-Ikhlas is equal to the one third of the Quran and there are numerous virtues of it.

» Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas protect from evil Jinn, Satan and jealous people.

• Ayatul Kursi is known to be a Dua for protection from every evil. However, it is narrated that Surah Waaqiah protects one from poverty.

I can never get enough of the Prophet’s (pbuh) beauty; he was so sensitive to people’s pain. He was their comfort when they were hurting. Can you imagine a grown busy man stopping to sit down and comfort a child hurting due to the death of his pet bird for as long as he needs? He did. Even when he was in pain himself, he would still comfort others.

When people ask me what I love most about him, I always say his beauty. It is fair to describe him as the most beautiful human being, a trait which takes a lot of strength and courage. There’s so much to learn from his personality alone.
