When Neville's empathy potion goes oh so wrong and explodes on Ron, he finds that he can hear everyone's thoughts. If you'd asked him if he'd like such a skill before the incident, he may have thought it'd be pretty wicked. But it's not, god it's not, because everyone's thoughts are pretty scary. And why the hell does Harry seem to be capable of only thinking about Draco sodding Malfoy?!

Drarry and a match-making Ron make me so happy.

Harry has just defeated Voldemort. He finally has. It's over. Or, at least, it's supposed to be. But as usual, things don't work out so easily. With Death Eaters craving revenge, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are sent to a safe house, or hotel, rather, at the beach. Oh, and Draco Malfoy is locked up in there with them. And it's very hard to ignore him once he becomes linked to Harry. 

Another beautiful work by sara's girl, this fic takes place immediately after the end of Deathly Hallows (epilogue excluded). It's really, really lovely in an pleasantly aching way. I don't know, I just seem to get many feelings from fics. You should go read it.

Somewhat responsible for the situation, Draco, a teacher himself, takes over Harry's responsibilities and talks to his unmoving body constantly, sharing his most personal stories. Through the following weeks, the once rivals will develop an intimate bond that neither would've ever dreamed to be possible.

I can't even begin to express my adoration of this fic. I read it only a few days ago, and am going to reread it. I love and respect sara's girl so much. I can't get enough of her. The writing filled me with a nearly melancholy calmness, a beautiful feeling, really. So do go read this, you'll be glad you did.

OMG, I've been reading wayy too many Star Trek fics recently. Maybe it's because I dyed my hair blue, and blue always reminds me of science uniforms.

Crown of True Kings and The Magic of Deduction

I KNOW, I'M SORRY I MISSED A DAY AGAIN. I was traveling and I sorta crashed as soon as I saw my hotel bed. :-/ 

So, to make it up, here are two fics? And since I'm in the mood and I finished Crown of True Kings yesterday, they're both Harry Potter/Hogwarts AUs!

A Hogwarts!AU set during the Triwizard Tournament featuring a confused but excited James Kirk, a reserved but somehow always in the company of other people Spock and a grumpy, overprotective, healer-to-be Bones; with lots of dumb book titles, secret passages, countless hours spent in the library and a really cool Astronomy project in the mix. This fic also features a sneaky Khan, Jim as the Hogwarts Champion and incredibly frustrating and hazardous tasks because nothing says ‘The Ministry of Magic is Mighty’ like throwing a bunch of seventeen-year-old kids into dangerous, life-threatening situations.
