- when do submissions start and end?
Sign ups and submission periods are always a week long. The moment you receive your prompt you are allowed to submit. This time I actually remembered to put specific dates lol - but for further clarification, I close sign ups around midnight central time!
- Will you pick from these images for my entry?
Nope! That defeats the purpose of the secrecy! You pick which one you like the most - but once submissions are done you are absolutely free to post your other ideas for the prompt! (And if im pinged ill reblog them too!)
Please ensure you submit a single image!
- i want to submit a horizontal image, am i allowed to do that?
Absolutely! Most people tend to do vertical submissions, but dont let that stop you.
- If my partner prefers to use one of the games, do I have to match with the same game?
During sign ups, i organize folks into weighted groups so people who want to match games are more likely to be matched. If your partner wants to match games, it is definitely preferred that you try to as well, but its actually not a hard requirement. Thats part of the fun of the secrecy!
I do ask that you don't purposely lie on your sign up to trip up someone, but if you realize you have a better idea in the other game than you signed up with, thats totally fine. This event is simply for fun!
- Something is stopping me from finishing my entry but I still want to participate. Can I get an extension?
Absolutely - barring glitches like shining nikki had during round 1, the intent is a three day grace period. During that grace period or beforehand, please inform me that you need a little more time and the reason why. If I don't receive any communication from you within a couple days, then ill grab a new person for your submission. If one or both nikki games are glitching, the grace period will be extended
- oh no!! Tumblr is glitching out and i suddenly cant contact you here!
Keep watch on my blog once submissions open - ill be adding a second google form for submissions for when tumblr decides to tumblr. Submitting through tumblr will still be an option for those who prefer it.
- oi idiot i submitted already, why are you bugging me?
Some people sent submissions to my main, some sent to my nikki blog, and when people are also sending from their mains, it gets a bit confusing! Bear with me!
If you know youll be sending from your main, adding that to your sign up is really helpful!
- I have my own idea for a theme and I want to run my own SCS!
Go for it! All I ask is to pick a different event name and do not reuse my banner since SCS is a reoccurring event. (Also ping me because i will participate!)
Feel free to steal everything else from this kind of event format!
