The Golden Age of Childrenâs TV, the 90âs.
Since my brother and I started making history videos online, there have been a few topics that have been kicking around our todo list and right there at the top has always been âNapoleonâs Penis.â
The story of the journey of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparteâs stolen penis is one of the most bizarre bits of history that our childhood textbooks omit (imagine the questions teachers would have to answer) spanning the globe and even mentioning the JFK assasination, Abraham Lincoln, and Hitlerâââitâs like a greatest hits of history. I could make the argument you could tell the entire story of the modern world framed by the lost palus of âThe Little Corporal.â
When visiting Paris this winter, we took an amazingly entertaining informative walking tour (Wego Walking Toursâââa must do and itâs free). When our super enthusiastic guide brought us to the front of the Military Museum, he ran down the fall of and last days of Napoleon with a quick aside about the legend of his snatched member. After the tour, off his recommendation, we went to visit the tomb of Napoleon which is attached to the museum inside a cavernous old cathedral. While looking at the mighty sarcophagus, I couldnât stop thinking about how there wasnât a penis in it.
Later, on the train ride back to London and plane ride back to America, while shielding my phone from others, I did a deep research dive and found a story weirder than I had remembered and I knew It was time to share it with the world.
Even though I keep things âfamily-friendly,â I am fully aware that there is zero chance YouTubeâs robots will turn ads on this video. Unfortunately, Iâm not even sure with the subject matter and one educational Hitler reference, it will even end up ranking in searches, but oh well, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta doâââsome stories are just worth telling.

After stumbling across the spot of the first milk pasteurization in the US, I spent far too much time researching it. So, I made a video about how pasteurization made it so milk could do your body good. It is more interesting than it sounds!
Take it from one of the whitest individuals in the world, the sun is trying to kill us. Learn about humanityâs battle with UV rays and the invention of sunscreen, which is totally safe, no matter what things on Facebook may tell you.
One of my favorite quotes đșđž *Have to throw an asterisk that due to denial/disbelief, America under FDR (and most of the world) was pretty slow-going to admit Jewish refugees in the earlier days of Nazi Germany. Of course, the US did ultimately liberate all of Europe from the nazi threat.
You don't know how The Electoral College works. It's okay, we explain the mysterious weird nightmare that is the history and process of America's Electoral College - guaranteed, you don't know the half of it.
History was made with the Cubs World Series win last night. But could it continue this strange correlation between American League/Republican and National League/Democrat?
