I found us the perfect young Tony who will be in one of the future groups. If he doesn't win the Tony World Cup, I'll bite you guys and switch to DC.

This DC universe seemed promising until I was told that Tony Stark isn't in it. I'm very disappointed. Can anyone figure out which actor I had in mind so I could return to the MCU?

So, no? No one?

In this case, I will have to resort to extreme measures, because I miss Tony and the MCU, and now it’s a competition between people vs AI. I’m not a fan of real AIs and don’t usually use them, as they only create extra fact-checking work for me (this blog doesn’t use AI); however, I’ll have to employ it to create images of the candidates "in character" if human imagination proves insufficient. Real human artworks and multiple hints were made, but we still have nothing here.

In this series, we established that the only remaining statement is "MCU Natasha Romanoff(va) was a Soviet master spy/assassin".

Can anyone explain why exactly this statement is false?

I'm probably going to be wrong, but does it have to do with her designation as a Soviet spy/assassin?

The Soviet Union dissolved in 1991.

Natasha Romanoff, according to the MCU fandom page, was born in 1984.

So even if she'd been a small child entering the Red Room under Soviet control, she wouldn't have necessarily been a full-fledged operative until after the Soviet Union dissolved.

This would mean she was always a Russian spy/assassin, not a Soviet one.

On the Lack of Meaningful Activity

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve lost a few followers (around five), and I expect that number to rise while I’m busy with a time-consuming project. That’s why I’ve been posting polls: they don’t require much effort, yet they allow me to engage with the audience and provide us with useful information. However, it seems people have grown tired of them. Of course, there are a huge number of actors in the world, and I don’t discriminate against anyone based on look or origin (although I do apply certain filters: age under 41, activity for the last 6 years, fluency in English, at least one movie with an IMDb rating of 6.5/10 or higher, and sufficient fame to have a Wikipedia page).

If only I had a time machine to entertain everyone by working in "48/14" mode - then no one stopping by for fact-checking and analysis would ever leave my blog 😭. Although, when I post fact-checking material and ask people to be proactive - for instance, to use their heads and figure out what’s wrong with a particular claim - I get NOTHING. Like here, for example:

Is it really the case that, among a thousand people, not a single person found it interesting enough to spend five minutes Googling and reading a Wikipedia article? I am baffled. I thought that was precisely the reason you had all gathered here. I guess I was damn wrong.

You might have noticed that I’ve seemed a bit irritated in my recent posts. That’s because I’m pouring time and energy into trying to get people to think, yet getting nothing back - it’s like talking to a wall. Will my attempts at a new blog in a "less entertainment, more data" format generate interest? Looking at the current landscape, I have my doubts. This trend is everywhere: from the reluctance to repost on Tumblr (and I’m not just talking about my own posts) to the lack of feedback for fanfic authors. Once people start engaging, I’ll stop acting like Gordon Ramsay here:

P.S. There is ONE person who has figured it out, though, but she was promoted to my "assistant" and I'm still waiting for my "students."

Unfair hair

I noticed that the best predictor of who will win a round in the Recasting polls is hair color.

Lighter-haired actors lost in 84% of their polls. The lighter the hair color, the worse the results: those with light brown/red hair lost in 85% of cases; blondes lost in 100%.

The only exceptions among dark-haired actors are: one Asian, two Black people, one overweight Maori, and one Timothée Chalamet - whoever he is.

It's understandable that it's hard to imagine Julian Dennison as Tony, but hair dye is one of humanity's oldest inventions. Use your imagination.
