Now, Axton was never a humble man. At the very least, he begin to find himself enjoying garnering the attention of many, being told he’s cute-- really, it makes him a little less miserable about the situation. At least, just a bit.
Preoccupied with basking in the attention, all the while a dash of pink dusts his features, Rhys’ request has him arching a brow. While hesitant, he does, ultimately, turn his head towards Rhys’ offered hand, his nose crinkling.

Not understanding this sudden fascination with his newly acquired features -- the ears to be specific, Axton can only give Rhys a strange look when he requests the urge to scratch behind them. For .~*science*~. at that.
Skeptical, but willing to allow the other his fun all the same in SPITE of his own sour mood, he tilts his head accordingly to allow Rhys better access to the ears -- which seem to twitch involuntarily under scrutiny.

It’s then he feels something brush against his back. A look over his shoulder reveals what appears to be a furred tail protruding from from beneath his clothes. Brows furrowed, his hands snap up to his head in order to feel the pointed ears now topping off his scalp.
