I am thrilled to share my latest project with you: Devil’s Hollow, a custom neighborhood heavily inspired by the dark, macabre worlds of American Horror Story.
Please note that this project is based on specific seasons that served as the primary inspiration - namely Murder House, Coven, Hotel, and Apocalypse. Beyond the AHS lore, supernatural fans will also find characters, storylines, and secrets woven in from the universes of True Blood, The Vampire Diaries, and other supernatural classics.

Summer at the Quarry 🏖️
I have for you today a sand default, pond bottom default, and a pond overlay. I made these for myself and figured I'd share. I wanted a beach sand that more closely matched the vibe of Michigan and Ohio beaches with all the shells and rocks. :-) I made the pond bottom rocky since I'm making a swim-able quarry in Haddock Bay, aaand needed an overlay to tie everything together. Happy summerrrr! 🐚✨
Vehicle Maintenance 2.0
@teaaddictyt and I are back again with another (HUGE) update that changes basically everything. It is recommended to delete vehicle maintenance 1.2 and start from scratch here since here have been lots of fixes, changes, and additions.
Fixes / Updates / Improvements:
Some files have been renamed for better organization (Me)
Fixed motor oil's category, the "Function - Init" wasn't setting it properly (Tea)
Fixed & Updated Code for Maintenance Checks and Decay. Added new checks and organized (Me)
Fixed animation strings for the fuel pump, bhavs were calling on the wrong animations (Me)
Fixed a coding mistake in the "add fuel from jerry can" interaction, this is working now (Me)
Updated all objects "keep buying" when holding shift in buy mode (Tea)
Updated the parking block object footprint and reduced to one OBJD (Tea)
Recategorized Dee's parking meter to driveway category to match with parking block (Tea)
Updated deviance interactions (Steal battery, Slash Tire, Siphon Fuel) available to any sim who meets criteria: Sims in criminal career or with evil trait, now uses "Easy Inventory Check", added availability for sims with <= 2 nice personality points, removed limitation on family members being deviant on family car and replaced with relationship checks (Tea & I)
Updated the quality of oil depend on sim's mechanical skill during an at home oil change (Tea)
Added motive changes for Deviant interactions, depending on niceness personality points and/or traits (Tea)
Added maintenance interactions edited to check 1) is it a community lot? 2) is it a business lot? 3) is it a service station? 4) am I staff / family / employee? (Tea)

Storage Tire Rack. Store Tires @ Home / OFB Tire Rack. Sims can now buy/sell tires on business lots (Tea & I)
Added new code parking blocks and parking meters to spawn in and out cars every so often (random intervals) to simulate cars arriving and leaving the lot. This means all parking meters and parking blocks will now try to find an empty, unused driveway to "link to" Intervals are shorter on a "servo" lot, longer on any other lot (uses Mog's original code). These spawned in cars have a new limited tree table with maintenance & deviant options only, along with having a 50% chance of having an alarm installed (Tea)
Added & edited a new modded object: Engine Hoist by Oce / Blue Heaven Sims. This object can spawn in cars needing maintenance so a sim can work on the car and be paid for a service. They are paid $50 x their mechanical skill (Tea)
Added New Feature - Engine. Driving a vehicle with low oil and/or fuel will decrease the condition of the vehicles engine, which can lead to engine failure (Me)
Added new modded objects: Fuel Maintenance Hole, Fuel Maintenance System. The Maintenance Hole will restock nearby fuel pumps. When empty, owners and employees unlock the interaction "Order Fuel Delivery" on the Fuel Maintenance System. I did it this way, so each pump doesn't have to be restocked individually. It's also more realistic in my experience from working at a gas station. Fuel price is based on the BCON in the main vehicle maintenance file, the "set price" interaction will go off of that and do maths :) (Me)

Added Fuel/Car Wash Simulations (With Traits). Sims from the neighborhood who own a car and have a driver's license will now arrive under conditions (spawn in if their schedule is cleared, with weather checks and Traits: Hydrophobic, Loves The Rain, Loves The Cold, Night Owl) at gas stations to get a random amount of fuel or wash their vehicle, which is paid to the business, but not actually taken from the sim. Passengers can spawn in if their schedule is cleared and they meet various criteria: spouses, children, friends, along with weather checks and traits (Hydrophobic, loves the rain, loves the cold, night owl, loner, social butterfly, family oriented). Basically, we made actual functional gas stations/car washes. Yes, you read that correctly! :)))) (You can ban sims with visitor blocker) When recoloring a vehicle after a sim takes ownership, you can click the "Update Vehicle Token" which will update the token to be the correct color for when they spawn in (Tea & I)
Known Issues:
during fuel/car wash simulations, some vehicles will not let sims snap to slots. to combat this, they just disappear and leave until I can figure out a better solution (slots will be the death us)
Almost every vehicle has a different length, so animations for getting to the hood can be goofy, or spot on! like i said, the slots will take us out. some pics for comparison (i stole these from Tea lol):
The OFB tire rack gives back the business a small percentage of the tires price, instead of a larger amount and I don't know how to combat this (if anyone wants to help, OFB code is a nightmare lol)

All wanted files go into This PC > Documents > The Sims 2 > Downloads This is designed to be as compatible as possible with all other car mods. You can choose which ones you want to have, just make sure to load them before any vehicle maintenance content. If you were playing with all car mods (that I know of) the setup would look something like this:

One of the major mod pies I've had my fingers stuck into lol. I have no business being this involved in Siknoy's brainchild (he also gives he FAR too much credit, this is mostly him, with me occasionally providing ideas and code checks lol), but this update is major and IMO, really really cool.
Installation is easier, compatibility patching should be easier, all pie menus are better organised and easier to navigate.
There's also a version of my "Go Out with Cars" included, along with a version of my new mod for "Go Out Return Time Notification". These are all in the "add-ons" folder when you download the mod.
I am committing to continuing to help out with bug reports and compatibility as things come up x

Buyable Uni Diploma
Did your sim lose their diploma? Did you make an adult or elder in CAS and you want to give them a background that includes having a degree? Or do you perhaps do your own simulation of Uni that never uses the in game uni functionality? Whatever your reasons, I can think of scenarios where having a diploma on command is helpful, and so I made one.
And a buyable diploma is not much use unless you can set it up to be like an in game one.
Overrides the OBJD of the in game diploma, as well as pie menus, and adds some new debug interactions. You can access them by having testingcheats enabled, and holding down shift when you click the object.
Debug interactions - Change owner (gives you all adults and up on lot as options) - Set honors (impacts what the dialogue says when you view the diploma) - Set major (impacts what the dialogue says when you view the diploma. Cycles all available majors in your game, so if you have any custom, they will show up as well) - Current options are just there to show you what the settings are, to save you having to have a sim go view in order to verify your choices
The options that refer to current sim's whatever will pull from the sim's person data, so use these for sims that went to uni but lost their diploma. For honors, the none option will set the grade as the lowest possible while having still graduated.

Teen Age Transition Interest Change is Random
Wow okay that is a wordy title but I wasn’t sure what else would encapsulate what this does. When Freetime was released Maxis added a BHAV that makes all sims aging to teen lose a set 4 interest points in certain categories and gain a set 4 in others. It’s been a while since I actually looked into this but basically it was making it so ltwvariety wasn’t letting any of my sims roll the pets LTWs, because all sims lose 4 interest points in ‘animals’ when they become teens. So the max any sim could have when rolling a LTW is 6 points.
Kinda rambling, okay, basically all this is is a coin flip in the BHAV so basically half your sims will have ‘adult’ interests and half will retain their ‘child’ interests. Anyway, I needed this I’ve been playing for a while with it and it’s all worked. So, enjoy!

🎒🚌School Responsibilities Mod 🚌🎒
🍎This mod adds more realistic schoolwork responsibilities for child and teen Sims. Instead of school performance being based mostly on regular homework, students can now receive extra assignments after school that must be completed at home before the next school day.
🍎These assignments include studying for tests, writing book reports, completing Home Economics projects, and completing Art class projects. Studying can be completed on the computer or via the homework book. The mod is designed to make children and teens feel more like active students with school obligations outside of the classroom.
🍎Completing assignments improves school performance, while ignoring them lowers school performance.
How Assignments Work
🍎Each child or teen student has a chance to receive one school assignment after school.
🍎By default, the mod checks for assignments between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
🍎Each selectable child or teen has a 60% chance per Sim day to receive one assignment. A Sim can only have one active assignment at a time.
🍎Assignments are due the next school day. The Sim will not immediately receive a grade result after completing the work. Instead, the result is processed after the Sim arrives at school the next day.
Assignment Types
The mod can assign four types of school responsibilities:

Students may be assigned a test and must study before school the next day.

🖍️Teens receive longer and more dramatic book reports inspired by funny real-life 2000s movie-style themes, such as popularity drama, sparkly vampires, pirates, teen romance, dance battles, and school hallway chaos.

🍎Home Economics Projects
🖍️Students may be assigned a Home Economics project.

Fun Motive Changes
Like real life, schoolwork reduces Fun while the Sim is actively working.

This is meant to make school responsibilities feel like work without heavily punishing the Sim.
Assignment Frequency
🍎 By default, each child or teen student has a 60% chance per day to receive one school responsibility assignment.
🖍️The possible assignment types are weighted like this:
45% chance the assignment is a test
30% chance the assignment is a book report
13% chance the assignment is a Home Ec project
12% chance the assignment is an Art project
🖍️Since the daily assignment chance is 60%, the real daily chances are approximately:
27% chance of a test
18% chance of a book report
7.8% chance of a Home Ec project
7.2% chance of an Art project
40% chance of no assignment
These values can be adjusted in the tuning file which will be provided separately with this mod in xml format.
Tips:
For relaxed gameplay, leave the assignment chance at 60% or lower it to 30–40%.
For stricter school gameplay, increase the assignment chance to 80–100% and increase the performance penalty for missed work.
Important Gameplay Notes
The mod only assigns school responsibilities to child and teen Sims who are enrolled in school.
Boarding school Sims are ignored.
Non-selectable Sims are ignored by the assignment generator.
Assignment results are only processed when the Sim is at school.
A Sim cannot receive a new assignment while they already have an active assignment.
The mod does not replace regular homework. Regular homework still works normally.

Veronaview - Veronaville but reimagined!
SUL SUL! For a while now I wanted to make a version of Veronaville and Pleasantview combined, and seeing as I love Veronaville I thought I would give it some love. So I made a new hood full to the brim of community lots, decorations, CC and hidden community lots. This hood is very decorated and has used optimized lot imposters. NOTE - This is EMPTY as the sims I have used are on an ALT timeline, and uses CC from MANY different creators.
Riverbanks / Bridge / Streetlights all light up at night without the BETTERNIGHTLIFE mod
DISCLAIMERS - seeing as I made this for me I wont be going around to change the lot imposters back from optimized to normal, consider this your warning that this is a very resource heavy hood.
Some lots require your sims to walk there, as the cars will clip with hood deco, such as the teen hangout, its somewhat written in the community lots description if sims can drive there or not.
This hood requires a bunch of CC, in order for ease for everyone else I have compiled a Veronaville collection download folder and included the CC that I did not make that am allowed to share (If I understood their TOU correctly) with the hood, so make sure to look for duplicates.
The CC that is not included, is majority of the walls I used for this project are from my 4T2 Defaulted Walls Collection. The new Tudor walls are included in these files. AND The floors are not included either, sadly I have no way to track which floors I used for this project, so instead of including 900+ floors in the main folder, I figured I would least let people decide if they want that or not, however, not having them in game, would mean there will be the default wood floor in all lots.
Please also note, that this is an EMPTY version of the hood, this is so that I can add and remove sims for future projects. To have Veronaville and Pleasantview sims in this hood, add them as a subhood and then remove said subhoods, all families will be put into the bin.

Sims 3t2 Traits - Talk About Hobby (Trait mod for Sims 2)
Because Beau Andrews has the "Can't Stand Art" trait, he always rejects when Sims talk about Arts and Crafts to him!
This mod edits the "Set Result" BHAV for "Talk About Hobby".
In the unmodded game, Sims without the hobby will still accept talking about said hobby if the two Sims relationship is high. This mod adds some caveats to that.
Effects:
Sims with the Can't Stand Art trait will always reject talking about arts and crafts.
Sims with the Technophobe trait will always reject talking about Tinkering.
Sims with the "Hates the Outdoors" trait will always reject talking about Nature.
No conflicts that I know of
