Jerry is a nice guy, plain and simple. And with that comes the typical nice guy bullshit.
He knows a lot about everyone, and has definitely used blackmail to get things he wants from the guys. He held Greedo318 over Bill’s head for years after all.
This also extends to you, anything you tell him he won’t go spreading, but he definitely remembers. And if you threaten to leave him he’ll make sure to remind you of the things he knows.
He’d never actually say anything, he’s the nice guy! Everything he does is normal, it’s for you. And if you can’t appreciate that then you’re just like all the other girls.
Constant self-deprecation, he’s just the ugliest most annoying terrible guy around, and nothing you say will ever change his mind.
Everything has to be “equal” in your relationship. Every experience is transactional, and it becomes obvious when it’s his turn. If you don’t do something he wants he won’t complain to you or pout, but later when he’s upset he brings up how “you never want to do the things I want, you’re really taking advantage of my kindness!”
He’s a lot better after the club breaks up, but that lingering insecurity still stays and he continues to have moments of toxicity when he gets really upset.
