(old pic) i found coco floating on the pond this morning... water is good and i feed as i always have. they're alive and i suspect swim bladder issues, i put them in a bucket with clean water so they're not bothered by the other fish. they'll fast for a day or two, and then i will feed peas, if everything goes well.

his tank is super ugly, but Zipper is a gorgeous boy, and he is always interested in everything. at the store he was labeled as a rose petal betta, which i thought was a mistake because his fins were kinda small. but now they are getting fuller and more ripply, so i guess he is one after all! he is still a great swimmer, but i know that over time, they'll likely make him more tired.
