WE are proud to announce the release of our second album: the mighty ‘SKULLOSSUS’, which shall see the light of day on Monday, 1st May 2017 on label ‘When Planets Collide:presents’…

In true GURT style, this album is an absolute colossal record that raises the bar for their unique form of ’Party Doom’. Never before have they fully expressed the true extent of their wide range of influences. This collection of 11 tracks perfectly encapsulates how GURT differs from every other band on the current UK DIY scene! Created over a week-long period at Titan Studios in Watford under the watchful eye of Producer Steve Sears and Co-Producer Tony Nigelson, these songs feature big riffs, memorable hooks, massive choruses and some special guests!

Along with the new tracks comes a brand new logo and stunning artwork designed by our very own David ‘Spicy’ Blakemore, and a whole range of pre-order opportunities and merch that you can pre-order RIGHT NOW ahead of the album’s May 1st release.

When Planets Collide is proud to present a tour of mammoth proportions, bringing together UK Party doom troop GURT and San Francisco Doom Metal trio BRUME who venture to UK soil for the first time. With these 2 WPC bands united for the first time we truly aim to bring the ying and yang of heavy music and cover all ground on what will be 5 days of crushingly heavy music and fun times. After which BRUME shall be going it alone for one final show appearing on the Saturday of this year’s DESERTFEST London on the HDP/WPC stage.
